After a long winter, Mr. Ken and his boys are asked to take on another boy. But this time he is a soon to be 15-year-old freshman in high school. The Cover boys, especially the younger ones, are reluctant because of the teenager’s age. But they decided they need to give him the same chance they had been given. After a tumultuous first day at The Cove, Billy then gets into trouble at the high school which requires Mr. Ken to hire a lawyer to defend the teen at a School Board hearing.
