Monday morning the Covers woke up to a sunny day. They all met in the hotel lobby at 8 a.m. with their bags being pulled behind them. The van driver was late, but that allowed the boys to grab a hot waffle or pancake and a glass of orange juice or milk to get something on their stomachs before they loaded onto the plane.
When the van driver arrived, he apologized for his lateness, then began grabbing the bags and storing them into the back end of the vehicle. Mr. Ken had everyone drain their dragons before they loaded into the van, then, before long, they were headed to the airport for the start of the third leg of their trip.
At the airport, the boys knew to load the bags onto the TSA carts, then visit the restroom, and then wait for the clearance to load onto the plane. Once the TSA agent told them everything was good, the Covers loaded into the Gulfstream 280 and took their seats. Once the plane got to their cruising altitude, the boys got something to eat, while they flew to their next stop, Discovery Kingdom.
Just as they did at their two previous stops, the Covers loaded into a van that took them to their hotel. There Mr. Ken got registered and then passed out the room keys for the three rooms they had. This time it would be Billy, Robert and Charles sharing the third room with the twins sharing with 'dad' Ken, while Eric and Matthew bunked in with Mr. Wayne.
As they did the past two times, when they met in the lobby after getting settled in their rooms, the Covers stopped for lunch before heading out to the amusement park. As they approached the amusement park, Mr. Ken had the driver head toward the operations/employee entrance.
Julia Rennartz was anxiously waiting for the park's owner and his family to arrive. She knew he would be there, and what they would discuss, but she was also anxious to learn if he had decided on which of his three park operations managers would be chosen to lead the amusement parks.
"Mr. Thomas, it is so good to see you and your family again," announced Julia Rennartz, as the Covers alighted from the van.
Mr. Ken shook hands with the woman, and then so did Wayne Mitchell and the boys. As Billy shook hands with the park's operations manager, Mr. Ken introduced him to her as his newest foster son. He then told her he adopted Charles just a few weeks ago.
The group made small talk as they walked into the building. Mr. Ken had Billy wait for the van driver and to catch up with them in the office, which he pointed out to him. Ms. Rennartz talked to Charles about his adoption and how he felt now that he had a forever home.
When Billy and the van driver arrived, Mr. Ken asked Julia if she had someone who could take his group to the FFF Pass Booth to get them all Fastest Passes as he had told her he wanted for them, while they visited the park for two days.
The operations manager made a phone call and before long a young woman came to the office. Mr. Wayne recognized her immediately, and she did him, and the boys.
"Jasmine, you remember Mr. Thomas and his family. Please take them over to the FFF Pass Booth and have them issue Comp Fastest Passes to them all," said Julia Rennartz, to the young woman.
On the way over to the Booth, Jasmine asked Wayne about Collin and was he coming tomorrow. Mr. Wayne told her that Collin was actually the owner of seven major manufacturing plants and had thousands of people working for his companies, and he was out visiting them. The Estate Master told the young woman that it was a long story, but suffice to say that both his parents had died and left everything to him, and he was now trying to fill very big shoes.
The van driver was just as surprised as the other two drivers were when he got his own Fastest Pass to use. Again, Mr. Wayne told the four oldest Covers they could hang out together and enjoy the park together, while he and the three younger boys did their thing. He then told the van driver he could hang with them, or go by himself and they would call him when they wanted to meet up.
The four Cover teens headed to the roller coasters and the three who'd been to Discovery Kingdom before told Billy to choose which one he wanted to ride first. The fifteen-year-old said he wanted to try The Demon, a steel coaster that had a single loop and a double corkscrew.
The Covers used their Fastest Pass and before long they were seated in the first seats of the only 28-seat train due to lack of block brakes. The operator dispatched the train and before Billy knew it the ride was over, in approximately 48 seconds, as the roller coaster was only 2,350-feet long.
Billy couldn't believe how quick the ride was, but also how much fun it was. He was ready for the next coaster. The four boys headed over to The Figure Eight, a wooden roller coaster.
Billy enjoyed the small, compact coaster as it went back and forth in a figure eight pattern rather than an out and back as the Comet at Fantasy Fun Park did. What he also liked was that some parts of the track had bunny hills that added to the fun of the ride and gave them little bits of air time.
The four teen Covers then headed over to The Stagecoach, another wooden roller coaster. They went through the Exit to activate their Fastest Pass and get a return time. As they waited, Robert told his older 'brother' about the coaster and how, when they were there the last time, his dad talked to the people in line about what he'd done for the park, and the FFF Pass he implemented that year.
When it was their turn, they took their seats, other people with Fastest Passes were ahead of them so they didn't get to ride the first car seats. Billy didn't care. He was just happy he was there and he was going to enjoy every minute of the ride.
At the end of their ride, Billy learned the first hill was 125 feet high with a 78-degree slope that went down 115 feet before leveling out some and then heading up the next hill. Billy commented to his 'brothers' that he felt like he was on the Comet, but that the ride was longer. The three other Covers laughed and then asked where they were headed to next.
While the Cover boys rode the rides at Discovery Kingdom, Ken Thomas and Julia Rennartz got down to talking attendance figures and revenues against the previous two years statistics. But the whole time Julia was focused on whom Ken Thomas was considering as his Vice-President to help him run his amusement parks.
After a while, Julia, couldn't wait any longer, so she had to ask, "Ken, have you decided, you know, on who you are going to choose to be your Vice-President to run your amusement parks?"
Ken Thomas laughed, as he knew Julia wanted the job, and she would be a good choice, but, to him, Ben was the much better administrator. But he had to hold his cards close to his vest for now, but he did owe the woman an answer.
"Julia that is one of the reasons why I am on this two-day visit to all of my parks. I will take back my observations and consider my interviews with you all when I get back home, and there I will make my decision.
"I actually intend to announce my decision the weekend after Labor Day at a gathering I am hosting at my Lakeside Hotel, where you all will be my guests. There we will have our first annual Fall Meeting to discuss next year's goals, park wide matters and future expansion plans for all of the parks. I hope you can wait until then," said a smiling Ken Thomas.
The boys rode all the rides including the new rides their 'dad' had installed that winter. The Super Kite was the amusement where the rider lay down on the gondolas that let the riders experience the sensation of free flight with a wave-like oscillating motion. The boys enjoyed it even knowing what to expect.
The Covers also rode the amusement called Hang Ten, at Discovery Kingdom. This was the same ride called Surfer Wave and Skateboard at the other two parks. This ride was designed to look like a surfboard where the rider stood up. The ride spun around as it went back and forth on a track that mimicked waves that the rider 'surfed' the swells of the track.
The third new ride, called the Tomahawk and The Hatchet at the other two parks, was called The Axe there at Discovery Kingdom. The Axe was a looping ride that propelled its passengers in a 70-foot loop. Half of the riders faced one direction while the other half faced in the other direction. The ride operator had the ride go in one direction and then stop it at the top of the arc, for a few seconds, before sending it in the opposite direction. The Covers loved riding that ride there and at the other two parks.
The Covers met in the Operations building at 7 p.m. to go out for dinner. Their driver took them out to a fancy restaurant where they talked about their day and all the rides they rode. After dinner, Mr. Ken had the driver take them out for ice cream sundaes before heading back to the hotel.
'Dad' Ken and Mr. Wayne said goodnight to all the boys out in the hallway that evening and gave them each a hug before sending the boys into their rooms to settle down for the night before going to bed. The men went down to the hotel bar for a few adult drinks.
Mr. Ken and Wayne met in the hotel lobby for coffee and a lite breakfast, while the boys slept. Wayne talked to his boss about his credentials for his trip to Edgewood and how he was to play that role. Mr. Ken gave Wayne some background information on his electronics plant that he bought from Collin, and which made the coins. That way Wayne could talk-the-talk to the owners of Edgewood if he had too.
As the men waited for the boys to come down to the lobby, Mr. Ken went over and talked to the hotel manager. He asked him to call his next hotel and asked them if he could have an additional room for his boys as he had there, and at the two previous hotels of the same name. The hotel manager said he would and would leave a message on his room phone with the answer.
The boys knew when they came down to the lobby in the morning their 'dad' would take them out for a good breakfast. The driver met them at 9:30 and drove them over to a national breakfast chain that Mr. Ken and the boys enjoyed. There they talked about what they had planned to do that day, and when they should all meet to head back to the hotel.
At the park the Covers split up as they had at the previous amusement parks. 'Dad' went inside to work with Julia Rennartz, while the rest of the Covers headed over to the FFF Pass Booth to get their Fastest Passes for the day. The van driver tagged along.
Mr. Wayne split the boys up again. They knew that was coming and this time Billy and Charles took the twins with them, while Mr. Wayne had Robert, Eric, Matthew and the driver go with him.
When they settled down in her office, Ken Thomas told Julia Rennartz it wasn't too early to start talking about the fall Spook-Tac-U-Lair with all the zombies walking around and the scary characters in the woods. Mr. Ken wanted to discuss new characters and haunted areas.
When they finished talking about the fall merriment, Mr. Ken wanted to talk about the parks Celebration of Christmas Wonders and how they could expand it and somehow involve the local schools.
Julia suggested they ask the School Boards if the students from the different schools could come and sing Carrols, on different nights, and they would get free admission. Mr. Ken liked that idea and told her to follow up and let Joe and Ben know about her idea.
The Cover boys went about their day riding the rides and enjoying each and every one of them. Sure, they rode them yesterday, and when they were there last winter, but this was Billy's first visit and he wanted to ride them as often as he could.
When they rode the Round-Up, Billy rode with Kevin and Charles rode with Kyle. They split like that since the twins were a little scared, because the gondola was attached to an arm that was lifted up to 90 degrees from their starting position all the while they were spinning around. That meant the riders were going around and around up to the sky and then down to the earth.
The Discovery Kingdom had a ride also called the Tomahawk, but this one was a pirate ship that went back and forth and higher and higher. The boys jockeyed for the top most seats so they would get the best ride. Billy enjoyed the feeling he got every time they reached the top of the boat's arc.
Billy rode the Beer Barrels with his 'brothers', next. The ride was well themed, but all that spinning wasn't for him. He told his 'brothers' he needed a more docile ride after that one. They rode the Sky Ride that took them from one side of the park to the other.
The next three rides the four Covers rode were all roller coasters. They rode The Figure Eight, a wooden roller coaster that had some bunny hills that added fun to the ride. They then hopped on The Demon. That was the steel coaster that had a single loop and a double corkscrew, and there was only one coaster train.
The Stagecoach, another wooden roller coaster, was the four Covers next ride. That coaster has the first hill at 125 feet high with a 78-degree slope that went down 115 feet before leveling out some and then heading up the next hill. This coaster was an out and back like the Comet, at Fantasy Fun Park, but was longer and had a few more hills on it
Billy enjoyed the wooden coasters. He liked the feel of the sway the wooden coaster frame gave as the train moved through the track. He also enjoyed the airtime he got as the coaster train went over some of the hills. Those were the things he told his 'brothers' about as they walked to their next amusement ride.
When they came to the Flying Wings, Billy saw Matthew and his other 'brothers' were already on the ride. He watched the youngest Cover move the vane back and forth making the carriage twist and turn. Every time Matthew came around, Billy could hear him laughing and he knew his 'brother' was enjoying the ride. He couldn't wait until he took his turn.
When it was Billy's turn to ride the Flying Wings, he couldn't wait until he got the chance to move that vane. As the ride picked up speed and the air caught the vane as the teen moved the blade the carriage twisted and then turned. A few times, Billy moved the vane in such a way that the carriage bounced a time or two and the ride operator yelled to him to stop doing that.
When the ride was over, all the Cover boys got together and talked about what Billy was doing as he rode the Flying Wings that he made the gondola bounce like that. The oldest Cover told them all he was doing was catching the wind with the blade turned fully to one side so that it sort of held the carriage back and when he released the pressure it would bounce back into line. Billy told them it felt exciting to bounce like that.
The boys decided to walk around as a group now that they were all together. They came up to the Rotor, where the riders stood against the outer wall and as the ride began to spin it forced the person against the wall. The ride then began to tilt upwards giving the guest the feeling they might fall to the other side.
Billy had ridden it the previous day and was eager to get back on. All the Covers used their Fastest Pass to get a return time and then they waited for their turn. When it was their turn, they took their slots next to one another, hooked up the safety lines and got ready for the ride to begin.
Centrifugal force kept the rider against the wall, and they were all laughing as the Rotor's spinning had the boys plastered against its wall. Billy knew he wouldn't get dizzy as he almost did on the Beer Barrels earlier, as the spinning was outward and not acting on his inner ear as the barrel had.
After the Rotor, the three younger boys wanted to ride the Ferris wheel. The older boys balked at doing that 'lame' ride, but Mr. Wayne convinced them they should look at it as a 'family' thing and the younger boys really wanted their older 'brothers' to do that with them. The older boys gave in and using their Fastest Passes the seven boys didn't have to wait long to board.
When the Covers alighted from the Ferris wheel, they talked about where they wanted to go next. Billy said he wanted to ride the roller coasters again and in particular the wooden ones. He said the steel one was OK, but it was too small and too quick to really enjoy it. So, the boys headed to the other side of the park.
Kyle asked his 'brothers' to take the Sky Ride. He told them they could rest their feet along the way and they could enjoy seeing the park, as it was getting late and the lights were coming on the rides and buildings.
It didn't take much to convince the Covers to ride the Sky ride after Billy said he was going to ride it with Kyle, and he would meet them over there if they decided to walk. Mr. Wayne inwardly smiled at the way Billy could lead without demanding, or yelling.
The Covers decided to ride The Figure Eight wooden roller coaster first. They used their Fastest Passes to get a return time and while they waited, they decided who would ride the first car, first seat. Billy and Matthew won the Rock-Paper-Scissors game they played to pass the time.
After The Figure Eight, the Covers headed over to The Stagecoach. While the Covers waited for their return time, Charles and Mr. Wayne won the first car, first seat Rock-Paper-Scissors game.
The Covers headed up the Exit to claim their seats and, since there were eight of them, the people in line were dismayed that so many were able to go ahead of them. The ride operator told them they all had Fastest Passes and had waited the required time and were entitled to take their seats first. When the Covers were seated, the ride operator opened the gates and the remaining train seats were filled and the train was dispatched from the station.
Just as the Covers train was dispatched out of the station, 'dad' Ken and Julia Rennartz came up the Exit into the station just as they had back during the Cover's last visit during the Holidays. The reason for their visit was that Mr. Ken decided he wanted to reenact what he did the last time he was there, which was to talk to the people in line.
The ride operator knew who Ms. Rennartz was, but didn't have a clue who the man was. He had already moved the second train into the station and had unlocked the restraints allowing the riders to get out, and now he wasn't sure if he should allow the new riders to enter the train seats.
Ken Thomas saw the hesitation in the ride operator's demeanor, so he called out, "Go ahead and fill the train."
The ride operator still had no idea who that man was, and he didn't open the gates. Mr. Ken again told the operator to "Fill the train", but he didn't press the release button. Now a little irritated, Ken Thomas and Julia Rennartz walked over to the operator and this time Mr. Ken asked the person if he heard the direction. The operator was stunned at what he was being told to do by someone he didn't know, so they looked to Ms. Rennartz as to what he should do.
Julia Rennartz saw the look on the operator's face and said, "This is Mr. Thomas, he OWNS the park. Open the gates and fill the train. The other train is back and you are holding up the throughput."
The ride operator opened the gates and the people quickly filed into the coaster train and fastened their restraints. The other two ride operators checked the safety restraints, gave the ride operator their thumbs up and the train was dispatched.
The Covers train was then brought into the station and the Covers were happy to see their 'dad' there. They all headed over to the man and asked him why he was there. He told them, but then asked them to get off the station, so they could fill the train.
As the ride operator opened the gates, Mr. Ken began to speak. "Last year, when I visited my new park, I stood here and talked to the people in line, and I thought I'd do that again, while I visited this time around. Operator, dispatch the train, when it is safe to do so!"
As they waited for the train to be dispatched, someone in line called out and asked if the Park was going to have the Halloween and Christmas celebrations again that year. Mr. Ken said that they were and were looking to make them even better. The person said he was looking forward to that.
Someone called out and asked if the park was ever going to get another roller coaster.
Mr. Ken began to answer, but it was then the coaster train was being dispatched and he waited for the noise to dissipate. Mr. Ken said that he told the people in line last December that attendance drives expenditures, and it was still too early to make that determination. Mr. Ken then asked the people what they thought of the three new rides he did bring to the park.
People began to yell out what they thought, but the owner of the park missed much of what was said as the train came into the station and the ride operator released the restraints and the people off loaded and, when the gates opened, the new riders came in to fill the now empty train.
People continued to call out what they thought about the three new rides and Mr. Ken heard that the people really did enjoy The Axe and the Super Kite. Many said the Hang Ten was a cute family ride and they enjoyed taking their younger children on it, and were happy he thought of them, too. That put a smile on Mr. Ken's face.
The ride operator kept dispatching coaster trains as if Mr. Ken and Julia Rennartz weren't there. The people in line kept answering Mr. Ken's questions and they were surprised that the owner himself was there talking to them, and getting their feedback.
One person, who was there back during his Holiday visit, thanked Mr. Ken for not overcharging for the FFF Passes. The man said he felt the price was fair, as the park didn't have many high-end rides to justify anything higher. Mr. Ken thanked him for that feedback.
As the next train came into the station, Mr. Ken told the ride operator he was going to ride that train. He told the people in line he was making an executive decision, and would ride the first car, first seat. He then called out for his son, Charles, to join him. He then told his other 'sons' to wait for him to return.
When Mr. Ken and Charles returned to the station, Mr. Ken waved and thanked them for letting him 'jump the line'. The people called back and thanked him for talking to them and some called out they would like another roller coaster. Mr. Ken smiled as he, Julia and his 'sons' left the station.
It was late in the evening, so Mr. Ken had their driver take them to a good restaurant for their dinner. As they had done the two previous evenings, the Covers talked about their visit and how they enjoyed the rides and the food offerings at the park.
When the Covers returned to their Hotel, they went to their rooms and packed for the next leg of their trip. 'Dad' Ken reminded the boys to use the packing cubes for their dirty clothes and then relax some before going to bed. He told them he and Mr. Wayne would be going down to the hotel bar for a few adult drinks before they went to bed.
The covers met down in the hotel lobby at 8 a.m. as they had the two previous times. The boys wanted to get a quick bite and Mr. Ken told them not to eat too much, as they would stop and get a good meal once they headed off to their next stop, Crystal Lake Amusement Park.
Their driver picked the Covers up at 8:30 and it was 9:30 before TSA allowed them to load onto their private jet. The flight, off-loading and van ride made it almost twelve noon when the Covers arrived at their next hotel. Mr. Ken went to register his group, and he was happy he had the previous hotel manager call ahead to get him that third room for the older boys.
With their hotel room keys in hand, Bill, Robert and Eric were going to share the extra room, and this time the twins were staying with Mr. Ken, while Charles and Matthew were staying with Mr. Wayne. Mr. Ken asked everyone to take their time to settle into their rooms and to meet in the lobby at 12:30, so they could all go out for lunch.
When the Covers met in the lobby there was someone waiting for them.
"It's about time you all got here!" called out Collin, when he stepped out from behind a pillar.
"Collin," called out a surprised Robert, as he ran over to his older 'brother and hugged him. The other boys also called out the older teen's name, and rushed over to hug him, too. Billy stayed by his foster dad and waited until he was introduced to the man's first foster son.
When the hugs and greetings were over, Collin walked over to his Big Brother and shook his hand and then pulled him into a big hug.
"I bet you thought I wasn't going to be here," teased Collin, as he directed the question to his Big Bro.
"Well, I knew you were going to try to be here, but I wasn't sure if you would be here today or tomorrow, and if you could stay for only one or both days. But I am very happy you were able to make it. You saw how happy your 'brothers' are to see you, and speaking of your 'brothers' let me introduce you to your newest 'brother'.
"Collin, this is Bill, Bill Dirketson. He came to The Cove near the end of March and has already wormed his way into Chief's heart," laughed Mr. Ken.
"Welcome to The Cove, Bill," offered Collin, as he held his hand out to shake the new Covers' hand. "I hope you know Ms. Judy has brought you to the best foster home anywhere," added one of the richest teenagers in the United States.
"Oh, yes, I know that. After everything Mr. Ken has done for me there is no way I would ever mess up that I would have to leave The Cove. I hope we can find some time to talk. I know my 'brothers' can't wait to talk with you, so they will probably hog you," laughed Billy.
Mr. Ken told the boys to get a move on as they all needed to eat lunch and then head out to the park as Jason and Arnie were waiting for them. Collin headed away from where Mr. Ken was herding his boys, so the man called out to him, "Where you going?"
"I'm going to my ride," laughed Collin. Just then a chauffeured limousine drove up. "We'll follow you."
The boys then all asked if they could ride with Collin. Mr. Ken knew if he allowed one, he'd have to allow them all, so he told them all to get into the van as there wasn't enough room in that small limo for all of them. The boys all moaned and loaded into the van.
The van driver took the group to a lunchtime buffet where the boys could enjoy any number of different menu items as often as they wanted. Collin wanted to pay for all of them and took out his own Black credit card. Mr. Ken smiled at the offer, but he told the teenager he would take care of the bill, and for him to catch up with his 'brothers'.
The large group looked for a quiet corner where they could talk and not disturb the other diners. Mr. Ken knew the boys would try to talk to Collin as much as they could, and all that banter would carry outside their area.
The questions started as soon as Collin sat down and he no sooner answered one than he got another. Mr. Ken had to tell the boys to let Collin at least eat before his lunch got cold. Then Collin told his 'brothers' he wanted to get to know his newest 'brother', and to let him talk to Billy while they ate.
Billy was surprised that Collin wanted to get to know him, and was even more surprised that Collin told his other 'brothers' to leave them alone, as they talked. That put a smile on the Cover teen's face. Of course, Collin's other 'brothers' were disappointed, but they knew Collin hadn't ever met Billy, and he needed to get to know him better.
The boys probably ate more than they would have if they had gone to a fast food restaurant, but they were enjoying being with their older big 'brother' and having access to a lot more variety to eat than what they would normally have.
As the Covers exited the restaurant, some of the boys asked Collin if they could ride with him to the amusement park. Collin told them he asked Billy to ride with him, so they could talk some more along the way. Robert was the most disappointed of all the boys that he couldn't ride with his big 'brother'.
"So, Billy, how do you really like living with my Big Bro?" asked Collin.
"You're big bro? I thought … I thought he was your foster dad like he is mine," relied Billy.
Collin gave the teenager the Reader's Digest version of his life at The Cove and how the man was more of a big brother to him than a 'dad' was. Collin told Billy, at the time, Ken Thomas was only about eight years older than he was. Billy thanked Collin for the background on him, and told him he now understood more about his foster dad and The Cove.
As they continued out to Crystal lake Amusement park, Collin asked Billy to tell him more about himself. Billy was a bit reserved about telling this stranger about himself, but then he figured if the teen could tell him about the roughest time of his life, then his life was tame in comparison.
Billy told Collin all about his life and how he came to be living with Mr. Ken. Billy told him everything. The teen told his new big 'brother' about 'Greaser' and his mom's drug business, and how he knew about Charles before he came to live at The Cove.
Billy told Collin about the troubles he had at the high school and when he told Collin about what the high school principal tried to do to him, because the man was trying to get back at Mr. Ken, Collin was shocked. Collin asked Billy to tell him more about that whole incident and what happened at the School Board meeting than he did about the drugs and its aftermath.
The two teenagers got to know one another fairly well as they drove out to the amusement park. They talked about Chief and her love of ice cream. Billy even told Collin how the resident pet would 'take down' his younger 'brothers' to get to her treat before and afterwards. The two had a good laugh over that.
Collin then wanted to know if his Big Bro had taken Billy on his 3-day trip yet. Billy told his new 'brother' that he believed they would do that sometime during the week after they returned. Billy told Collin that Mr. Ken told him he would get extremely busy getting ready for the 4th of July Picnic and he needed to be back as soon as possible.
Collin then told his new 'brother' what went into the 4th of July Picnic and how busy his Big Bro would actually be. Billy said he saw how busy his foster dad could get and even Robert told them how they needed to leave him alone, when he was focused on things, and if they had problems, they needed to take them to Mr. Wayne first.
The two older Cover teens used the time on the way to Crystal Lake to get to know one another. When they finally arrived, the other Covers saw them laughing hard as they got out of the limo, and they went over to them.
"By the sound of the laughter, I'd say you two got to know one another on your way out here," teased Mr. Ken. "That is good. Come on. Let's go over and meet up with our hosts."
"Wayne, boys … you all remember Jason. He's my Resident Administrator here at Crystal Lake Amusement Park. He oversees the contract terms as I purchase the park. This other man is Arnold 'Arnie' Arnolds. He's the park's operations manager, just as Joe, Ben and Julia are at my other parks.
"Arnie, let me introduce you to my family. This man is Wayne Mitchell. He is my Estate Master and he helps me corral the boys when I can't. This older teenager is Collin Wilkinson. He is my 'little brother'. There is a long story behind that.
"These two are Robert and Charles, and are my adopted sons. Bill, Kevin, Kyle and Matthew are my foster sons. Eric here is Collin's 'little brother', and there is another story behind that. If we ever have the time, I'll try to explain it to you," chuckled Ken Thomas.
"Welcome, welcome everyone to Crystal Lake Amusement Park," offered Arnie Arnolds. "I understand you've just visited Mr. Thomas' three other parks, and now you'll get to compare what you'll see and experience here with what you've just seen and rode.
"I know we will be as good as, if not better than, what you've already seen, otherwise Mr. Thomas wouldn't have bought this wonderful amusement park. If you'll go with Jason, he'll take you over to the FFF Pass Both to get you your Fastest Passes. I look forward to talking to you all later."
