The twins felt the morning came way too early. This was only their second day getting up at o'dark thirty for school and they didn't like it. The first week of school they spent in the hospital after they and their parents were involved in a car crash with four other vehicles and a big tractor trailer.
Robert got up and went to the twins' bedroom to make sure they were up. Charles passed his older 'brother' in the hall as he headed to the bathroom to relieve the pressure in his bladder.
"It's good to see you two up," teased Robert.
"Yeah, we're up, but we sure don't like it," scowled Kevin.
"Come on, get out of bed and meet me and Charles in the shower," replied Robert, as he exited the bedroom.
Mr. Ken had already got his morning newspaper and he was on his second cup of coffee when his four foster sons came into the Kitchen Nook for breakfast.
"Morning, 'dad'," called out Charles, as he entered the Kitchen Nook.
"Morning 'dad'," quickly followed up Robert.
"Good morning 'Dad Ken'," chimed the twins, as they entered the Kitchen Nook.
"Good morning boys," replied 'dad' Ken. "Are you all ready to learn today?" teased the man.
"I'm not," quickly spoke up Kevin. "I'd like to go back to bed. Why do they make us go to school so early?"
"You never liked getting up for school," answered back his twin, "especially the day after you and dad spent the day together doing I don't know what."
Ken Thomas wondered what that was all about. He already learned from Kyle that Parker Parchsons and his son Kevin spent time together, alone, and that Kevin wasn't allowed to tell Kyle what they've been doing and where they went. Then he remembered he needed to check if Dan had found anything out about Parker Parchsons.
Momma Maria had another wonderful breakfast for all her Cover's that morning. Then, as the lads were leaving to catch the school bus, the woman told the lads she'd have pudding filled vanilla cupcakes and cold chocolate milk for them when they came home. The boys thanked her for breakfast, and told her they would look forward to their after-school snack.
Mr. Ken looked at the time trying to decide if it was too early to call Dan. Then, he remembered that the Sheriff's Lieutenant worked the overnight shift and was probably still wide awake. At least he hoped the man was as he laughed at what he just thought.
Sam and Terran were already waiting for the school bus Kevin and Kyle rode when it came into the drop off area. The two friends, along with the other lads, greeted the twins and the gang of boys headed off to where they hung out before school began.
"So, Kevin ... can you tell us what's it like to live at Three Finger Cove?" spoke up Landon. "I've never been there, so I have no idea what the place looks like except from the road."
Kevin smiled and told Landon and the rest of the lads, "Well, we've only been there since Friday night and the Labor Day Picnic was the next day. The house is real big on the inside. Everyone has their own bedroom but Kyle and me shared a bedroom when we lived with our parents, so we chose to share one there, too. The bathroom is really neat. There are four sinks, four shower heads, two enclosed toilets, and 'Dad Ken' has two urinals in our bathroom and they make it real easy to pee in the mornings." When the lads heard that last item it made them all laugh.
"What else is there to do?" now asked Eli.
This time Kyle spoke up and told the group they had a great big theater they could watch movies in, and he told them about the big pool and the jumping platform and how the pool had a beach area where the water level started at nothing and then dropped off the four-foot level. Kyle then told their new friends about the shower room and how they all changed in front of the older boys.
Again, a few of the gathered group of boys, hearing something totally out of the ordinary for them, wanted to know if the twins got embarrassed to be naked in front of the older boys. A few of the other lads also asked if they saw the older boy's dicks and balls. Both questions got the entire group laughing, but before Kyle or Kevin could answer either of the questions, the first bell rang.
"Dang, now we'll have to wait until lunchtime to find out if you saw the older boy's dicks and balls," said a laughing Nathan, as the group headed to their classroom. That last statement caused the rest of the boys to have another big laugh.
Ever since the twins arrived at the school the previous day, Dan Chassen recognized another large group of boys was beginning to form, and so he decided to watch what if anything would happen. After that second day of watching, he decided that just as Robert and Charles attracted a large gathering of friends, the twins had that same tendency and so he figured he had nothing to worry about.
The teacher knew that getting an invite to Three Finger Cove was like a conquest for many of the lads and thus they would tend to want to make friends with the boys who lived there so they might be invited over. But after thinking about this idea, he added to his thoughts that unless the wrong element started to butt in and begin to cause trouble for the younger lad's things should be okay. He decided he'd continue to monitor the younger group a little while longer.
Back at The Cove, as soon as the lads left for school, Mr. Ken called Dan Fischer on his cell phone.
"Hey Dan how's it like to be back at work after living the life of luxury for a few weeks?" teased the owner of The Cove.
"Ken, those first two nights were brutal. The Cove made me soft and weak for that soft bed and wanting to sleep in every morning," teased back the newly promoted lieutenant.
"Now that you're a lieutenant, I guess you have the best vehicle and can sit back and let the troops do all the work," mocked Mr. Ken.
"One of the reasons I never accepted the promotion before, was because of all the headaches and paperwork I knew came with the job. And it hasn't changed any, even with all our new computer systems. And now, that I AM the supervisor, I have to review all the reports the 'troops', as you call them, submit to me before they go up the chain. Now, I don't think you called me this early in the morning to harass me about my new job, so ... what can I help you with Ken?" directly asked Dan.
"Dan ... do you remember the conversation we had with Robert the other day about Parker Parchsons? I was wondering ... were you able to find out any further information about the man. Dan ... the reason I am asking is ... I think Parker ... I think he might be doing the same thing with his son, Kevin," revealed Ken.
The phone went silent for a few moments while Dan Fischer thought about what he just heard.
Then Dan asked, "Ken ... are you sure?"
"Dan ... I've already said way too much over the cell phone that just about anyone can listen in to, but ... to answer your question ... my suspicions are very high from what I've gathered from talking to the boys and what's been said on the side between them. Dan ... if this is happening then ... then there may be a lot of other boys out there going through the same torment that Robert has," was how Mr. Ken replied to Dan's question.
"Ken, to be honest with you, working nights ... well, it doesn't make it very easy to talk to the right person," began to explain Dan. "Your question has been on my mind, though, but ... the job ... just coming back while I was gone for that length of time, is kicking my butt. I am having to spend much of my time getting back up to speed on what's happened while I was gone. But I promise you this. I will make a few phone calls when my shift is over and I'll call you as soon as I find anything out."
"Thank you, Dan, that's all I can ask. With Parker in the hospital for the foreseeable future it probably won't matter if we delay some but, for the boy's sake, we need to find out as much as we can and make some decisions soon," replied Ken Thomas.
"Yes, I agree. I'll call you as soon as I know anything, good or bad," answered Dan, and then hung up.
Ken Thomas shook his head at not knowing anything about Parker Parchsons, but he took solace in knowing the man would be in the hospital for some time. He figured they'd learn everything they needed to and make a decision long before he gets well enough to go home.
While he waited for Dan to get back to him, Mr. Ken got to work on some of the projects that were coming up for his final approval before being forwarded to the County Commissioners for zoning changes and their approval before he broke ground on his new apartment complex he planned to build in the vicinity of his Four Corners development.
The twins were getting more and more comfortable with their new teachers and new friends. Kevin wasn't too happy about being separated from his twin, Kyle, but at least he knew his brother was in a room across the hall from him.
When lunchtime came around, the twins and their new friends all headed to the cafeteria to get their lunch and then gather together at one or two tables that were close together. As the boys got settled in to eat their lunch, the questions were continued.
"OK, continue to tell us more about Three Finger Cove," spoke up Eli, with his mouth full of hamburger surprise.
Kyle looked over to this questioner and said, "First of all, they now call it The Cove. I don't know why they call it The Cove, but it sure is easier to say than Three Finger Cove," laughed the twins, and a few others.
"OK, The Cove then. What else is there to do there?" continued Eli.
"Yes, and tell us if you got to see the older boys dicks and balls when you used the shower room," quickly called out Grant.
Sam and Terran quickly answered that question. They told their friends that they've been going over to The Cove ever since they helped built the skateboard ramps last spring and they've showered with their brothers and have changed in the pool's Locker Room lots of times. They told the group that they've seen all of the 7th and 8th-grade boy's 'boy parts' and then some.
The two best friends also told their friends how embarrassed they were when they first showered with their brothers in the upstairs boy's bathroom. But they both agreed that ever since then they've changed in the pool's Men's Locker Room with them and the older boys they are used to it and they don't think anything about doing it now.
All the 6th-grade boys at the tables laughed at hearing the 'boy parts' comment and some of them wanted to know how much bigger the older boys 'boy parts' were. That question caused another round of laughter that Mr. Chassen came over to them and asked them to hold it down to a light roar. The boys all chuckled at the man's request and then told the man they'd quickly finish eating and head outside.
Once the group of lads finished eating their lunch, they did what they said and they moved their boisterousness outside where they normally hung out.
"OK, tell us more about these shower rooms," spoke up Grant.
It was Kyle who took the question. He reminded Grant that Kevin already explained about the bathroom they all use near their bedrooms. Then the younger twin told their friends that pool had a Men's and a Women's Locker Rooms as well as showers in each of those rooms. The new Cover described how they used the benches to hold their swimsuits while they got out of their street clothes.
Kyle also described how there were also two shower heads in the shower area along with two toilets, two urinals, and two sinks. Kyle then explained that there were a large number of lockers out on the pool deck where you placed your clothes, then locked it and placed the key around your ankle.
"But why aren't the lockers inside the changing area?" quickly asked Grant.
Kevin spoke up and told the gathered lads that Mr. Ken told him he decided to have them out there in case there were more males than females, or vice versa. The older twin explained further that if you had more boys, which most times that is what there are, and the extra lockers were in the woman's area they wouldn't be available for the guys.
"Oh, I guess that makes sense," offered Grant.
"OK, what other questions do you have for us? Remember we've only lived there less than a week and we don't know everything about the house," added Kyle.
"What do you guys have for fun there?" asked Blake.
"Well, you already know about the skateboard ramps and the indoor pool. So, besides those two things, we also have these two big water rafts out in the lagoon," said Kevin.
"Tell us about these water rafts," spoke up Blake.
I think Sam and Terran can tell you more about them than we can. They've been going there all summer and have played on them more than we have," replied Kyle.
All the boys looked at Sam and Terran for their take on the water rafts.
Terran deferred to Sam who told the boys about the day the rafts were delivered and how they all got twenty dollars, each, to help offload them and assist with installing them. Then Terran spoke up and told them how they started playing a game of 'King of the Raft' and how high the rafts were when you got thrown or pushed off into the water. Sam followed that up by saying Mr. Ken had hired two lifeguards to watch them because there were getting to be too many of them. Sam further explained that Mr. Ken said they were so focused on playing that if someone got injured they'd probably not notice they weren't with them and they could be under the rafts.
It was Eli who asked, "How could you miss one of your friends with so many people there?"
"That's the point, Eli," said Sam. "We're playing so hard to win that we don't focus on someone who gets thrown off the rafts. It could be a long time before someone notices that one of us are missing and when you have 13 to 15 of us out there playing no one is paying attention. That's why Mr. Ken hired the lifeguards."
"Oh, I guess that makes sense, then," replied Eli.
Just then the after lunch bell rang and the kids all headed back to their classrooms.
It was after lunch that Dan finally called Mr. Ken on the landline.
"Ken, I don't have good news for you. I did talk to Sheriff Barnes right after I got off my shift. He in turn called Lieutenant Matthias and asked him to check if Parker Parchsons' name ever showed up in any of the receipts Robert turned in during his dad's trial. The sheriff called me back just a few minutes ago and told me that Parker's name wasn't on any of the receipts. I'm sorry Ken that it didn't pan out, but it has made Parker a 'person of interest' now that Robert had potentially identified him as another one of his attackers.
"Ken, can you tell me anything more about what you alluded to this morning about the twins, now that we are on a landline?" then asked Dan Fischer.
"Sure, Dan, let me try to get my mind around this first. ... The other day ... Kyle said something to me while Kevin was inside the sound-proof room getting his hearing checked. I had asked the younger twin about his latching onto you knowing his brother couldn't hear what Kyle and I were talking about. What I found out was that Kevin and his dad often went somewhere together. The strange thing is they NEVER took Kyle. Then, I learned that Kevin's dad told him never to tell Kyle where they went and what they did together. Then, this morning, at breakfast, when Kevin complained about having to get up so early for school, Kyle said something to the effect that his twin never liked getting up after he and his dad spent the day together.
"Yeah, I know it is all circumstantial, but when you get these hints about something you start wanting to come up with some plausible explanation and the only thing that came up was that if Parker Parchsons was one of the men involved with Robert. If he was then ... well, he could also be using Kevin for the same purpose. I say that ... because what happened to Robert started right after he turned ten and it looks like Parker and his son began going away together not too long after the twins turned ten," finished Mr. Ken. "Oh, oh, another thing I just remembered that Kyle told me, was that he didn't feel like he even had a dad anymore because he and Kevin are always going away together which was why he wanted to be with you."
"Ken, if you told that to some of our investigators they'd say you were picking at straws," laughed Dan. "But, with Robert's feeling he knows Parker Parchsons and what you learned from Kyle, I too, can feel there is something there. The thing is, everything is too circumstantial for now. We need to learn more from the boys, or try to find out who Parker's associates are so we can check them out and maybe see if there is any connection with Robert. If we can do that maybe we can break this investigation wide open."
"Hey, Dan ... has anyone ever looked into Judge Terryman's associates? You know ... I haven't heard anything more since he was arrested. Did he ever make bail? Is he out roaming the streets?" speculated Mr. Ken.
"Ken those are questions I can get answers to. Let me make a few more calls and I'll get back to you," replied Dan, before hanging up the phone.
Down in San Antonio, at the Brooke Army Medical Center, Parker Parchsons had finally gotten a Judge Advocates General (JAG) lawyer to stop by his bedside to talk to him. After his son's visit, he realized he knew one of the lads the man was fostering, so he knew he had to get his boys away from the man, so there was a less of a chance of any more meetings where Bobby could potentially recognize him. Parker knew from his talk with Ken Thomas that none of his family wanted to take the lads in but he wanted the lawyer to contact his family for him and vigorously try to convince them to take the boys in any way until he and/or Vivian got out of the hospital.
After the lawyer talked to Parker about what the man wanted, the JAG said he'd do what he could, but he wasn't promising anything because that wasn't what they would normally do. The JAG said that because of the man's situation he would make a few calls for him. Mr. Parchsons further asked the lawyer that if he couldn't get his family to take the boys in, that if he'd somehow get his cell phone for him so he could call some of his friends, so he could ask them.
After the JAG had gone, Parker Parchsons was somewhat relieved that he was at least setting something in motion to get his boys away from Three Finger Cove and maybe Bobby's influence. He also knew he couldn't allow his wife to know what he was doing and why. She had no idea what he did in his spare time and he didn't want her to ever find out. All she knew was he brought home a good income and they lived quite well even if they didn't share it with their boys very much. The man knew the boys would be back to visit him and his wife and that it only increased the chance of Bobby coming along and lad could eventually remember him and then he'd be in very big trouble. Now, he had to sit and wait for the lawyer to get back to him.
Upon arrival from school, the twins immediately went looking for Momma Maria. The lads enjoyed their after school snack and they wanted to eat it before they went to 'Dad Ken' to ask him how many friends they could try to invite over that weekend. As the twins were eating their snack, Robert and Charles joined them.
"Robert," spoke up Kevin with his mouth full, "When you, you know, when you first began living here, how many friends did 'Dad Ken' let you have over the first time?"
Charles looked to his big 'brother' not knowing how he'd ever answer that question because he only met one lad at a time and that was how he began to have friends over. That was until he met the lads at the Go-Kart Track then he had a few more over at a time.
Robert thought about it for a moment or two and then he told Kevin that Eric was the first friend he had over, but then after a while, he was allowed to have Chuck, Brad, and Gordon, as well as Eric, over at the same time. Robert then explained that Trevor started coming over a few weeks after that and then when they went to the Coast Guard Training, Chuck and Trevor's younger brothers, Sam and Terran, came over as well. The teenager then asked Kevin why he asked that question.
Kevin had food in his mouth and this time he waited to swallow before he talked. The new Cover told Robert and Charles how they've begun to meet more and more kids in their class and they wanted to be able to invite them over, but he and Kyle didn't know how many new friends 'Dad Ken' would let them each ask over the first time.
Charles then spoke up and told the twins how he only met one friend at a time at first and that was how he invited friends over. The pre-teen did tell Kevin and Kyle how he met the boys at the Go-Kart Track, but that they didn't get to come over until after his surgery.
"Surgery?" asked a startled Kyle. "Why did you need to have surgery?"
Charles looked to Robert for some help, but all his 'brother' said was, "You mentioned it. Now you have to find a way to answer him."
"What does that mean?" immediately asked Kyle.
Charles thought for a moment and replied, "It means I can't tell you, at least, not down here. Later, after dinner and Robert's meeting with Mr. Stewart is over I can answer that question. At least I'll try to answer it."
"Robert ... do you know why Charles had to have ... surgery?" asked Kyle.
"Yes, I know, and ... if he decides to tell you why then ... then you'll have to promise him never to tell anyone; just as you promised me you'd never to tell anyone what I told you about me. There are lots of reasons why kids go into the foster care system and many of them are not good. Now let's finish our snacks and you can go and ask 'dad' about how many friends you can invite over the first time."
The four young Cover's waited for everyone to be finished with their after-school snack before they all headed to Mr. Ken's Study.
"'Dad Ken'," called out Kevin as they entered the Study.
"Oh, hello boys, what can I do for you Kevin?" replied 'Dad Ken'
"'Dad Ken', Kyle and I are meeting more and more of our classmates. Some of them have been over here already, you know, like Sam and Terran and Wyatt and Dominic, Nicholas and Andrew but we were wondering ... how many of our new friends can we invite over the first time?" answered Kevin.
"You know Kevin... that is a good question," replied 'Dad Ken'. "Before, when it was just Robert and then Charles they sort of met their friends one at a time. So, inviting one at a time was easy. But now with adding you two at the same time changes the dynamic for sure. So ... let me ask. How many friends were you each thinking of asking me that you can have the first time and ... I take it you are wanting to invite them over this weekend?" Mr. Ken then chuckled.
Kevin, not having an immediate answer, looked at Kyle for some help. Kyle shrugged his shoulders and then told his twin, "I don't know."
"Let me ask you," said 'Dad Ken'. "How many new friends have you both made already?"
Kevin and Kyle got together and 'Dad Ken' could see them counting their new friends on their fingers. When they agreed on the number they turned towards their foster dad and Kevin told him there were twelve new friends if they included Sam and Terran and Wyatt and Dominic.
"Ok, so how many of these new friends do you want to invite?" asked 'Dad Ken'.
"That's why we came to ask you," replied Kyle.
"Ok, who are these new friends of yours? What are their names?" 'Dad Ken' wanted to know.
"Well, there is Isaac, Nathan, Landon, and Andrew, who's already been over here" spoke up Kevin.
"And Grant, Blake, and Eli," finished Kyle, who then said, "And don't forget Nicholas."
"Hmmm, since Sam, Terran, Wyatt, and Dominic seem to be regulars which of these new friends do you want to invite?" said 'Dad Ken, putting the onus on the twins.
"That's our problem, 'Dad Ken'. We need to know how many each of us can invite," replied Kyle.
"OK, as I look at it there are seven, or is it six, boys who've never been officially invited over here. Right?" replied Mr. Ken.
"Yes, I'd say six since Andrew and Nicholas have been here at least once," Kevin answered.
"So, if you each invite three lads that will leave three boys for the next time. So, what say we invite four on Saturday and the other three on Sunday, with Andrew and Nicholas making up the fourth invitee? How does that sound to you?" 'Dad Ken' wanted to know.
"I guess that would be OK," said Kyle.
"It sounds fair," added Kevin.
"Robert, Charles, how will the addition of four more lads affect the number of lads on the ramps and possibly in the lake if the water hasn't lost too much of its warmth?" asked 'dad' Ken.
Robert told his 'dad' he didn't think it would affect the ramps too much. Only that everyone would have to wait a bit longer before it would be their turn. Charles then asked 'dad' Ken if Megan and Christy would still be coming over on the weekend, until it got too cold to swim. The pre-teen reasoned that without the lifeguards it might not be safe if twenty or so kids were out on the rafts swimming without someone watching over them. Charles then reminded his 'dad why he hired the girls in the first place.
"Charles, you make a very good point, 'son'. I'll make a note and call Megan and Christy later and ask them if they are available. If they aren't, I'll call Russell and Audrey to see if they are willing to work. Boys Charles does make a good point that with so many of you out on the rafts you all need to feel and be safe and that if there are no lifeguards then there will be NO swimming in the lagoon. I know that might not sound fair, but I have to err on the side of caution," explained 'dad' Ken.
Robert then quickly asked, "What about using the indoor pool, 'dad'?"
"Let's wait and see what happens on Saturday, and if I can get some lifeguards. But that is a good alternative. Thank you for thinking of that, Robert," reasoned Mr. Ken.
Then looking at the twins, 'Dad Ken' said, "Kevin, Kyle, you'll have to let me know what are the names of the boys you are going to invite. Then, tomorrow, you'll need to tell them to have their parents to call me so I can verify the invitation. I'll give you the phone number they should call, but if I forget, just ask your older 'brothers'. They both have the number in their cell phones.
"Do you boys have anything else to tell me?" asked Mr. Ken.
"'Dad' ... you do remember I had to go to the principal's office yesterday. Well ... rumor has it that Leah Hoalmes was given a three-day suspension. But today ... some of the students saw she brought her parents in to talk to the principal. Most of the kids out in the schoolyard said the suspension would not be implemented because Leah's parents are very rich and they always get what they want. But, some of the kids said they think Leah will have to serve the suspension. I guess we'll find out tomorrow," spoke up Charles.
"Hmmmm, they're that rich they can get Principal Chadwick to change her mind?" laughed Mr. Ken. "Yes, I guess you will have to find out for me what happens, Charles."
"OK, 'dad'" replied Charles.
"Now... it is getting late and I suspect none of you have started your homework. I want you all to go upstairs and get started on it. Mr. Russell will be here for dinner and afterward he, Robert and I will sit down and talk about the trial beginning next Wednesday. Now scoot," teased Mr. Ken.
Each of the boys hugged the man before heading up the stairs to their bedrooms to start their homework.
Once all the Cover lads were upstairs, Kevin went over to Charles and asked him if he was going to tell them about why he was in foster care. Charles told the twin he needed to get his homework done first and then he'd tell them once 'Dad' and Robert were finished with Mr. Russell, if there was time. Kevin walked away disappointed but Kyle told him not to pout as it made him look like a little kid. The younger twin then told his brother to get working on his homework before Momma Maria called them down for dinner.
Stewart Russell rang the doorbell about a quarter to six. Mr. Ken saw his invited guest drive up after receiving a phone call from the Main Gate guard telling him he had a visitor. Ken met the lawyer and welcomed him into his home. Stewart had been to The Cove a few times before but Mr. Ken welcomed everyone no matter how many times they'd been there.
Momma Maria also heard the front doorbell ring and knowing Mr. Ken had invited someone to dinner that night she walked over to the Main Entrance to let her employer know that dinner would soon be served. Then she walked back towards the Kitchen Nook. Mr. Ken then pulled out his cell phone and called Robert to gather up his 'brothers' and make sure they all washed up before heading down to meet Mr. Russell and then for dinner.
"Mr. Stew," called out Robert upon seeing his lawyer as he walked down the stairs.
"Hello, Robert, I'd tell you you've grown some since I last saw you but that was just last weekend so I don't think you really have," teased Stewart Russell. "Hello, Charles and you too Kevin and Kyle."
"Hi, Mr. Russell," called out the twins and Charles.
"I'm sorry I have to barge into your evening, boys, but I figured if I did this for a few hours on both Thursday and Friday that Bill and I wouldn't need a whole lot of time this Saturday. We both know how much you enjoy having all your friends over for skating and swimming," announced Stewart Russell.
"I'm sure we'd survive," replied Robert. "And besides, it only affects me. Charles can host our friends until you and Mr. Bill are finished briefing us on how you intend to conduct the trial. Then, I'd just join my friends," now teased Robert.
Stewart reached out and rustled Robert's hair. At that same time, Momma Maria came out to the Foyer to tell them dinner was ready to be served.
Over a dinner of side salad, pot roast, parsley buttered red-skinned potatoes, green beans and corn on the cob, the Covers and their guest talked about the previous weekend's picnic and had a few laughs over the King of the Raft challenge the younger lads had with the men who ventured out. They steered away from discussing the reason Stewart was there that night.
When everyone was finished with their dinner, Momma Maria brought out a fresh fruit salad mix consisting of blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, and cantaloupe blended in a huge bowl and coupled together with generous amounts of cool whip and vanilla shortcake. The lad's eyes got real big upon seeing the awesome looking concoction and wanted to dig right in, but 'Dad Ken' decided their guest would be served first. After Stewart took a generous helping, Mr. Ken took a nice sized portion for himself before passing it on to his 'sons'. After everyone had their fill there was barely enough leftover worth saving, so Momma Maria finished it off before turning on the dishwashers and leaving for home.
