Three Finger Cove: Charles ~ Book Three

Chapter Thirty~Seven

The Cove boys did the same thing for the next few days. Robert skated with their friends, then swam, and then fixed the barbeque. All Charles could do was watch the guys skate and swim. The only thing he could do was help with the grill and getting things ready for the boys to take turns cooking. Logan and Eric cooked the day after their first turn cooking so they could both get the hang of it. Then Cody and Brad took turns learning how to use the grill and not burn the burgers and hot dogs. The group worked as a well-oiled team and they were all becoming good friends no matter their age.

Saturday morning, Charles was beginning to feel much better so when he saw his 'dad' at breakfast he asked if he could call and invite his two new friends over. He had to remind his 'dad' who the two lads were they met at the Go-Kart track, Asher and Mason. The two reviewed what was said as they waited in line for their turn driving the go-karts. After remembering who the lads were, 'dad' Ken decided to allow the two boys to come over for the day. That made Charles' day as he hurried out of the Kitchen Nook to call his two new friends and invite them over to The Cove.

"Hello, Asher … it's Charles, from The Cove. … Yeah, from Three Finger Cove, that's what we call it now, The Cove. … Why did I call, well, when we were talking in line last weekend at the go-kart track I mentioned to Mr. and Mrs. Youngman I wanted to invite you and Mason over sometime this week. … Yeah, I haven't called him yet. … Well, I guess you can have either your mom or dad call Mr. Ken to confirm my invitation. … That seems to be what everybody does before their first time over here. … OK, then as you talk to your parents, I'll call Mason. … OK, call me if there is a problem."

Charles's phone call to Mason went about the same way, but this time he told the lad the time he should come over was about one o'clock. Mason told Charles he'd have his parents call Mr. Ken and then he'd call him back. When they hung up Charles was feeling great. But he knew he'd better not overdo it even though he couldn't do anything still.

Both Asher and Mason's parents called Mr. Ken to confirm the invitation for the boys to visit The Cove. Mason's parents asked if they could talk to the man in person when they brought their son over and Mr. Ken agreed to meet them at the Main Gate explaining the guards wouldn't let them in. That then brought up the parents' question about the guards and the owner of The Cove having to explain why they were there. In the end, the Harkids agreed to bring Mason over about one o'clock.

Both Mason and Asher called Charles after their parents told them they could visit Three Finger Cove. Charles reminded them to bring their skateboards and swim suits. He explained he wasn't allowed to do either of those things, but he felt it would be nice to have some new friends visiting his new home. The lads said they understood and told their new friend they'd be there at about one.

The Harkids and Youngmans arrived at The Cove about the same time. The two sets of parents greeted one another and then walked over to Mr. Ken.

"It is good to finally meet you," offered Natalie Harkids, as she shook Mr. Ken's hand.

"Yes, it is good to personally meet the man who not only stands up for the people of this county but also goes up against the politicians who abuse their power of their office," offered Blake Harkids, as he shook the hand of The Cove's owner.

"It is nice to meet you as well," began Mr. Ken. "We got to meet Mason at the Go-Kart track last Sunday and I want you to know he is a fine young man."

The adults talked again about the guards, but this time Robert spoke up and said their kids were safer there than at the County's own skateboard park. He explained the guards patrol the entire perimeter and control who comes and goes at The Cove. That satisfied the parents and with a hug and a kiss the parents left their boys to have some fun.

Charles and Robert took Asher and Mason down to the skateboard ramps and introduced them to the guys. Most of the guy's already knew Mason and Asher but none of the new 6th graders knew the two new boys so they appreciated the introductions. As soon as Asher and Mason greeted their old and new friends they sought out Camm.

"Camm … I want to apologize to you … for the way I've treated you these past few years. Charles … the other day when we met him well … well, he explained some things to me, and Asher here. You were never … you never seemed … dang, Camm, you were always so quiet and never wanting to join us doing anything we just figured you wanted to be left alone. That's what Charles explained to us … that since we ignored you … well, you stayed away. I'm very sorry for making you feel that way, Camm. I don't know how I can ever make those lost days up to you," spoke up Mason, and then offered his hand to Camm.

"I feel the same way, Camm. I guess we messed up big time and we never sought you out to find out why you were so quiet and stayed in your own area. I'm sorry, too, Camm, and I hope you'll be our friend!" offered Asher who also put out his hand to Camm to shake.

Camm had listened to the two boys apologies and saw their extended hands. He knew how hurtful all those times he spent alone were, but he knew Charles had stuck up for him and they wouldn't have been invited to The Cove if his friend Charles hadn't made them understand what they just told them. With that in mind, Camm took and shook both of the lads' hands and then gave them each a hug.

"Guys, I want to thank you for saying what you did. Yes, I did feel left out and all alone, but some of that was my fault. I never made the initiative to go out and try to interact with you all. I'm glad though that it is now been brought out and we can move forward," replied Camm.

The other lads had watched the three pre-teens walk away and begin to talk. They wanted to know what that was all about, so they slowly made their way over to the three lads. They heard what their discussion was all about and when Camm said what he did to Mason and Asher, they all applauded and joined in their hugs.

Camm had some tears in his eyes and that brought to mind what Charles had said to Mason about his apology would make Camm's day and it obviously had. Mason was so happy he went up to Camm and said what he had. He saw that Camm could indeed be a good friend.

Since Asher and Mason were the newbies on the ramps, the other lads told them they should get out there and try them out and show what they had. The two new lads started on either end of the Half-Pipe and did their thing. They showed they definitely needed some practice time but now they were there they would get lots of time to get their tricks and forms built back up.

Charles was happy his two new friends did the right thing by apologizing to Camm for the way they treated him. The lad was happy he now had four friends from his class and had silently hoped he'd meet many more before school started in a few weeks.

With the addition of two more boys to the mix, the ramps were a bit more crowded and the lads had to wait a bit longer before they were able to get out on the ramps to skate. Robert and Charles noticed what just happened and Charles decided to go inside and talk to their 'dad' to see if they could move the ramps further apart so they could let more of their friends skate.

Charles headed straight for Mr. Ken's Study and when he got there he saw Mr. Ken had a visitor who was dressed in a police uniform. Remembering what his 'dad' said about when he was busy they needed to knock on the door or frame to get his attention. Charles did exactly that.

"Come in Charles," said Mr. Ken. "You remember Sheriff Barnes?"

"Yes, I do. Hi, Sheriff, what brings you here?" relied Charles.

"Nothing like beating around the bush, eh, Mr. Ken?" teased the Sheriff.

"Charles, what can I help you with?" asked Mr. Ken.

"Well, 'dad', I see you are busy, so, I'll come back when the Sheriff has left if that is OK with you," responded Charles.

"Well, Charles, the Sheriff is here because of you, sort of. Sheriff Barnes, do you want to tell the lad what you told me?" asked Mr. Ken.

Charles stood there not understanding why the Sheriff would come all the way to The Cove to talk to him. Not knowing what to say or do, Charles decided to wait and see what, if anything, Sheriff Barnes would say.

"Charles, come in and let's sit down and talk," proposed the Sheriff.

Charles went in and sat down and then the Sheriff sat in a chair next to him. Mr. Ken decided to sit in one of the other leather chairs that looked opposite his 'son'.

"Charles, I was telling Mr. Ken here how proud I am of you. You helped us against Smokey and his gang and with the information you gave us you also helped us make a huge dent in the illegal drug trade in our county. It was your courage and honesty that were the keys in making this all work out and happen. We not only arrested eight people the other night but they have turned on about a dozen more contacts of theirs along with a number of places the drugs are kept.

"Tonight we are going to be making more arrests on top of raiding a few more safe houses. I told Mr. Ken here that we would like to honor you for your help in what we are doing tonight and what you have already helped us with … but he has graciously declined that opportunity and I definitely agree with his reasoning.

"After tonight, I believe we will have caused the bikers and their cohorts in the drug trade to think twice about coming back into our county for a long time. I've told Mr. Ken that with all this happening, I believe he could reduce his need for all the security he has and possibly stop the need for you and Robert's personal bodyguards. That though, will be up to Mr. Ken, here.

"Charles … I would ask you not to discuss what we just talked about with any of your friends out there. I believe they don't know anything about your involvement with Smokey and how you are involved with the other night's arrests. And, because of that, well, they really have no need to know anything about what will happen later tonight. Then, if Mr. Ken decides to reduce his security needs he'll probably use the recent events of arrests as his decision to do so.

"Charles, I am so happy that you are on our side. I personally know Dan Fischer likes both you and Robert and I know a few of the other officers definitely admire you both for who you are and how you conduct yourselves. Charles, I would like to shake your hand!"

With that said, Sheriff Barnes stood up and held out his hand to Charles. Charles smiled at the man, stood up and readily took and shook the man's hand. Mr. Ken then shook the lad's hand and then pulled him into a great big hug.

"Charles, 'son', I am so happy for you," began 'dad' Ken. "It looks like you can sit back and relax more now that the Sheriff, because of your help, will have reduced the need for you to look over your shoulder. … So, Charles … what brought you in here in the first place?" asked Mr. Ken.

"Well, 'dad', with Asher and Mason added to our growing number of friends, Robert and I thought we would ask you … ah, if you thought it might ever be possible we can spread the ramps out more. We figure if we can do that more of us can skate at the same time. Would you sit down with us and discuss this with us later?" calmly explained Charles.

"Yes, Charles … I'll talk with you and your 'brother' later at dinner. Will that work for you?" responded Mr. Ken.

"Yes, sir, thank you," Charles replied, to Mr. Ken.

Then, looking at Sheriff Barnes, Charles added, "And, thank you Sheriff Barnes for what you said to me. I am glad that what I told you helped you take care of Smokey and his friends."

That said Charles left the Study to join up with his 'brother and friends outside.

By the time Charles got over to his friends, Sheriff Barnes was seen leaving the front driveway.

"Hey, Charles," called out Robert, "what was that Dan Fischer doing over here?"

Charles smiled and said, "That wasn't Deputy Dan, it was the Sheriff, Sheriff Barnes. He came over to talk to 'dad'."

"Do you know what they were talking about," asked Robert.

Charles knowingly smiled and then told his 'brother', "No, not really. They stopped when I went in to talk to 'dad'. … Oh, and 'dad' said he'd talk to us tonight at dinner about the ramps."

The lads all got excited about the fact that Mr. Ken would talk to Charles and Robert tonight about maybe moving the ramps. They hoped their young friends would be able to convince the owner of The Cove to move the ramps further apart so they would have less chance of colliding with one another and also allow more of them to ride.

"Charles, thank you for inviting me to come over today. I love these ramps. They are very sturdy and smooth even though they've been outside and all. Most of the homemade ones I've seen and used all fall apart after a rain or two but these are awesome," excitedly said Asher.

"Yes, Charles, I didn't understand what the guys, who rode the ramps before, were saying about the ramps until now that I got my own chance to try them out. They are amazing how well they are built. I can see everything is screwed together and the wood is so smooth and not cheap looking. Mr. Ken really takes care of you and Robert, that's for sure," said a smiling Mason.

"Thanks guys for saying that. You do know that besides Mr. Ken and Robert that Chuck, Brad, Gordon, Trevor, Eric, Sam and Terran all helped along with their dad's to build the ramps?" asked Charles. "I wasn't living here yet."

"I know I didn't know who built the ramps," replied Mason. "All I knew was that Robert had these new ramps built and he only invited the 7th and 5th graders which meant we never got the chance to ride them."

In his defense, Robert said, 'It wasn't that way, Mason. It just happened that my friends and two of their brothers helped build them. Mr. Ken said we could invite only a certain number of kids over at a time and because Sam and Terran helped they could invite two each of their own friends at a time. Then, well school got out before everybody could come over. It just worked out that way, but now with Charles here I am sure more of your classmates will get a chance to come over, too."

"Is it time to go swimming yet?" asked Chuck, with Brad and Gordon agreeing with their friend.

"I know, I'm ready," offered Sam.

"I guess it is time to go swimming. Get your suits if you don't already have one in the dryer and we'll go down to the dressing room to change," called out Robert.

As the lads began walking around the outside of the house to get to the indoor pool, and the dressing room, Asher and Mason held back some to talk to Charles.

"Ah, Charles … do we change in front of everybody?" asked Asher.

"Sure, we all change in the men's dressing room off the indoor pool. Are you guys going to be embarrassed to show your stuff to everyone?" laughed Charles.

"Well, I'm not sure … I just don't know if I can," stammered Mason. "I've never really been, you know, naked in front of anybody."

"I bet you and Asher have shown your stuff to each other," Charles said and he continued to laugh. "It isn't any different you showing what you got to each other as it will be to let the others see you. Even Sam and Terran as well as Wyatt and Dom all get naked in front of everyone. But they know not to stare at anyone while they change. Looking is OK but it isn't nice to stare at anyone's 'tackle' as the Brit's call it."

"But, what if you get, you know, a boner?" asked Asher.

"Then you get a boner," teased Charles. "Look guys, we all get boners … and if you see one then don't laugh unless one of the older guys do. They're the ones who usually tease us with stuff but after you've been around them more you'll feel real good about being around the big group. When we have new guys like you two, one of us usually stays with them to help them out changing, you know, explaining what to do. But, since I can't swim, I'll ask Robert to work it out with you guys. Let's start walking in that direction.

"When you get in the dressing room, what you usually do is pick a wall or corner, put your suit on the bench, face the wall, take off your clothes, put on your suit and then take your clothes out to a locker and put the key around your ankle. It is simple and if you don't make a big deal about it the other guys won't say anything. If you hurry, though, you might stumble to cause the other guys to look your way. Come on, let's catch up with the other guys and I bet most will have already changed so you won't have a whole bunch of people in there that can be watching."

When Mason and Asher got to the dressing room most of the guys had already changed, but a few were still in the process of taking off their clothes and a few were naked and walking back from taking a pee. Both new lads eyes lit up some, but Charles told them to take a wall and just do what he told them outside. The lads did go over to a wall and took their suits out of their bags but then looked around some. It was Sam who was in the process of getting his suit on when he saw the boys looking around so he teased them about it.

"Look, don't be too embarrassed about changing. When I did it the first time my brother was in here and then the next morning I took a shower and he was there, too. Now, if you want to know what embarrassing is, now THAT was embarrassing," laughed Sam. "But, hey, now I don't care if all the guys see me with my clothes off. We've all talked about how different our equipment or boy toys or even 'boy parts' look and that's because we are all different ages and some will have hair above their dicks and some will have a longer dick and some might be a bit fatter.

"The thing is we are all boys and we all have the same stuff. Look, I've been standing here talking to you and I am still naked and it doesn't bother me, so come one, just turn around and change," encouraged Sam, who then turned around and put his swim suit on and took his clothes out to a locker.

Asher looked to Mason and his friend shrugged his shoulders and then turned to the wall and began taking his clothes off. Asher did the same and before long they both had their clothes off but what they forgot to do was take their swim suits out of their bags and place them on the bench seat. Now, the lads had to look through their sacks to find their suits before they could put them on. What the two new lads didn't know was that Sam came back into the room and the few who were still there were watching. Asher and Mason were so intent on getting their swim suits out of their bags they had begun turning right and left some and unknowingly exposed their 'boy parts' to the others. As the two new boys finally got their swim trunks on and sat down to tie the string the guys who were watching began to applaud. The lads looked up and got red faced.

"Hey, that wasn't bad now was it?" asked Sam, with a smile on his face. "Oh, and by the way, you have nothing to be ashamed of. We all saw what you have as you looked for your trunks in your bags and you didn't even know it. Come on, get your clothes together and I'll show you what to do next."

"Thank you, Sam," said Charles, as he placed his arm around the young boy's shoulder and hugged him lightly. "I hope they won't be too embarrassed about learning you guys were watching them. I told them they could look but not stare."

"We didn't stare, Charles, but we did look," laughed Terran, Sam's constant companion.

Asher and Mason heard the exchange and then laughed right along with the boys. Sam, then showed the two newbies how to use the lockers and where to place the key and the rest of the group walked down to the beach and into the water.

"Dang, I'm glad it is the middle of July and not May or June," spoke up Asher, to no one in particular.

"Back then, Mr. Ken had wet suits for us to use to help keep us warm in the water," revealed Terran. "But if you thought you might have been embarrassed changing just a few minutes ago, wait until you have to be naked to wear one of those wet suits. When Sam and I used them for the first time, we didn't know how to put one on, so we had to have one of the older boys help us. We had to be bare assed naked to get into one so just like when we first changed to swim and then took a shower the next morning with our brothers looking on, you don't know what embarrassed can be," laughed Terran and Sam, who joined in while Wyatt and Dom looked on.

"Look, we were only teasing you about being embarrassed when you changed in front of the guys. You were probably afraid you'd get a boner, I bet. We've all been there and if you just don't rush when you change you'll be OK. And if you do get a boner, just don't play with it. Let it be and it'll go down," seriously said Sam. "Come on, let's get out to the rafts. Wait until you see how much fun they are."

Asher and Mason followed Sam, Terran, Wyatt and Dom out to the rafts. The four friends told the two newbies to get up on the floating platform first and look at what the bigger water rafts offered for them to have fun. They also explained Mr. Ken has swim vests they can use if they aren't strong swimmers and there are eight life rings set around the larger rafts in case somebody gets into trouble. It was then Robert came over to the small group.

"Thank you, Sam, for telling Asher and Mason about the swim vests and life preservers. Just so you guys know, it is about ten feet deep here, plus or minus. You can see the guys are playing 'king of the raft' and usually Logan wins because he's the biggest of us all. That is until Todd comes out to swim with us," explained Robert.

"Who is Todd?" asked Mason.

"Todd is the teenager who takes care of the beach, the docks and boats and these rafts, as well. He works for Mr. Ken. He's almost sixteen and he's a bit bigger than Logan. If you come over enough you'll get to meet him. He's already been here so you won't get to meet him today," replied Robert. "You guys ready to get thrown off the raft?"

The seven lads walked along the runway platform to get to the climbing wall raft. With seven kids walking on the platform it started bouncing all over from the redistribution of the weight of the lads as they all walked in different gaits. It was funny to watch them as they tried to maintain their balance without falling. Since they were new, they didn't understand how the platform worked all that well and thus Asher and Mason both fell off the platform into the lagoon's water. Smiling, they got back on and followed the rest to the wall raft and their first unceremonious tossing back into the lagoon's water.

The seventeen boys had a blast out on the rafts. When they got tired of playing 'king of the raft' they began using the slides that were a part of the rafts. Most of the lads liked the steep grade the climbing wall slide had as it let them go faster into the water. Others liked the Jungle Joe raft as its slide had a small launching area at the end and that allowed them to go up into the air before hitting the water.

Charles watched from the patio and could see how much fun his two new friends were having out on the rafts. He could also tell everyone else was enjoying having two new guys out there to throw off the rafts and show them how to use the slides. As Charles sat under the umbrella at one of the round picnic tables he felt someone put their hands on his shoulders. Looking around he found his 'dad' came out to talk to him.

"You doing okay, there, 'son'?" asked Mr. Ken.

"Yeah, I'm OK. I just wish I could be out there with the guys, that's all," lamented the twelve year old.

"Yes, 'son' I understand your feelings there. … Say, 'son', I haven't been butting into … ah, hehe, I didn't mean to say it that way but I guess what's on my mind made me use that word," laughed Mr. Ken. "Charles, I need to ask you … are you having any problems going to the bathroom? Are your stools soft enough or, ah, do I need to give you an extra pill so they are not too firm when you use the toilet?"

Charles had a surprise look in his face when his 'dad' began to ask him about his toilet habits but he knew the man only cared about him so he told his 'dad' that his poop was pretty soft but nothing like it was last Sunday. That made the man and boy laugh at what the medicine made Charles do before going to bed that night.

"Charles, it is important you do not strain when you have to eliminate your waste. If taking another softener helps then I want you to take it. Also, we have an appointment with Doc Powers on Monday afternoon for him to check your incision and the stitches. You know I haven't bugged you about checking them myself because you are old enough to know to tell me if either of them are causing you any trouble. … 'Son' it should be only another few days before Doc Rick says it is okay for you to slowly get back into your normal routine. Hang in there a little while longer, sport!" finished 'dad' Ken, who then hugged the tear faced boy.

The man and boy hugged for a few moments before releasing the embrace. Charles thanked his 'dad' for taking care of him and making sure he was healthy. The lad then asked his 'dad' if he'd help him again to get the barbeque set up. The boy said they don't have to do anything more since getting the stuff out was the biggest headache. Mr. Ken ruffled Charles' hair and the two of them headed inside to get the industrial carts. The two Covers filled the wagons up with the needed supplies and headed outside to the patio. This time Robert and the other guys were waiting.

"We'll take care of the rest, 'dad'" said Robert, as he and Eric went over to take the carts and roll them to where they needed them.

Logan quickly stepped up and got the grill cleaned up as Mr. Ken showed him, along with Eric. The rest of the lads began cleaning up the tables and then setting out the utensils, cups, paper plates, condiments, and pickles and chips. They all then grabbed a soda and popped one for Logan and Eric who already had some burgers on the grill and the hot dogs waiting.

Asher and Mason stood back and watched what their new friends were doing. They'd never been anywhere where the kids did all the work. They also couldn't believe Mr. Ken was allowing the boys to cook, too. It was all so surreal.

It doesn't take long for burgers and dogs to cook, especially the hot dogs. Everyone began lining up after they let Mr. Ken get one of each and a soda and began to eat. There was never an order of who always ate first. Today, Charles did ask that they let Asher and Mason get their food first and the lads didn't have a problem. Charles then went next and seeing that the three twelve year olds were going to eat together the rest allowed Camm and James to go next and then join their other friends.

"Charles, do you guys do this all the time?" asked Asher

"Yes, all the time. Robert told me that Mr. Ken allowed Collin to do it when he lived here and when my 'brother' began living here Ryan taught him how to host his friends and he's been doing it ever since he began living here back in January," explained Charles.

"My dad would never let me cook for friends or let me cook at all," admitted Mason.

"Me, too," agreed Asher.

"Why?" asked Camm. "It isn't difficult, well it doesn't look to be that much trouble. Yesterday, when we set this up, Mr. Ken asked who had never cooked and Logan and Eric put up their hands. They cooked yesterday and are doing it today. I bet that if I ask to do it he'll let me, but I think Wyatt and Dominic might be next as they put their hands up the same time Logan and Eric did."

"How often do you guys do this?" asked Asher.

Charles smiled and said, "Almost every time the guys are over."

"That has to cost Mr. Ken a lot of money, then," replied Mason.

"I think he can afford it, guys," teased Charles. "Look at the house he owns and the property and all. He has never said we can't do this and he even encourages us to treat our friends. Robert said that he and his friends even did this in the middle of the winter when they had swim parties and sleep overs."

"Does everybody help set this up or do you and Robert do this all by yourself?" Asher wanted to know.

"Usually the guys help get the stuff and set it up," began Charles. "You saw how they put the other things out while Logan prepared the grill. The last few days since I can't swim or do anything, 'dad' and I have gotten the stuff together and bring it down and then the guys take over. When we are finished, everybody knows to help clean up and put everything away. Most of them know where everything is kept so they can get it and put it back."

The guys talked while they ate. Mason and Asher asked Camm and James how long they'd been coming over and were surprised Camm had been coming over the longest. They also asked them how they got over changing in front of everyone and that made Camm, James and Charles giggle some. Camm said he did what Charles suggested, which was to face the wall and change. James agreed and then after a while he told how easy it got to be as the older lads would show them their package and not care who saw them.

"But, well … what about Sam and Terran and those other young boys? Did they have the same problem as Asher and I had in the dressing room?" asked Mason.

"Nope," replied Charles. "The way I heard it was they were all here for some sort of Coast Guard training and then spent the night. They were embarrassed to change in front of the older boys but the older kids showed them what they looked like and told them they could look but not stare. Then, the next day they all showered in the boys' bathroom and they showered when Eric and Robert did, so they wouldn't be embarrassed in front of their brothers. Ever since then they don't care if any of the guys see them."

"But what do you do if, you know, you get a …" started Asher.

"You mean a boner?" chuckled Charles. "You can go take care of it in the one of the stalls or just put your suit on and go into the water. It will go down eventually."

"I think I'd be totally embarrassed if I got one in front of all those guys," admitted Mason.

"Why?" asked James. "We all get boners, we kids are going through puberty. Mine gets hard at the drop of a hat and … and I think the hat just dropped." James then looked down into his lap.

Mason and Asher turned to look at one another when they heard James say what he did and then they began to smile. They then looked down to their laps and began to laugh at their own chubby sticks in their swim suits. Camm, James and Charles sort of stood up to look in their friends laps and then laughed, too.

"Hey, what time is it?" asked Asher.

"Hey, 'dad', what time is it?" yelled Charles.

"It is almost 4:30, 'son'," replied Mr. Ken.

"Dang, I need to call my parents and tell them what time they should pick us up, and my cell phone is in my pants pocket in the locker and I don't think I could remember how to get there from here," spoke up Asher. "What time should I tell them?"

"Charles told the lad he'd go with him, and show him the way, to get his cell phone. The Cover told the lad he could change while he was there and hearing that, Mason said he'd go, too. Camm and James said they'd go, too to avoid the rush. Charles told Robert where they were going and why and the five lads all headed into the pool area. All the boys got their clothes and headed into the dressing area. Camm and James immediately dropped their swim suits and stood there naked and facing the two new lads.

"Come on, drop those suits," encouraged James. "We are naked and are not embarrassed for you to see us and besides, when we start taking gym you'll have to shower afterwards and be naked in front of a bunch of boys, so if you get used to doing it with us, it will be easier later."

Asher looked at Mason to see what he was going to do. The two friends had seen each other naked a number of times and, of course, each other's equipment, as well. Mason knew Asher wanted him to go first so he just put his thumbs order the band of his suit and tugged them down. Asher soon followed and now four pre-teens stood around looking at one another and their naked bodies. It was James who began to chub up and before he and the others knew it his 4+ inch boner was out in the open for everyone to see. That brought Camm's up and standing tall.

"Aren't you embarrassed to have us see your, you know, your boner?" simply asked Asher.

"No, why should I?" quickly replied James. "We are all boys and about the same age and we all get boners. Look, even yours is beginning to stand up."

Asher looked down and sure enough his dick had gotten fully hard and then looking over at Mason, he saw he was boned up, too. Asher was going to place his hands in front of him but it was Camm who told him to wait. The pre-teen said he needed to get being naked and boned up in front of friends out of the way and that after today they'd be cool with changing with the older lads. That made all the boys begin to laugh and it was James who said the newbies had nothing to be ashamed of and they looked good standing there like that. Asher and Mason blushed at hearing that.

It was James who stroked his hard dick a few times but then said this wasn't the time or the place, so he began to get dressed. Camm also stroked his a few times too and began to get dressed. Mason smiled at his friend Asher and he too stroked his and got dressed. He was quickly mimicked by Asher stroking his hardened phallus and then getting dressed. The whole time that was happening it was like Charles wasn't there. The dressed lad did see it all and he had gotten his own boner from seeing his four friends all hard as rocks. He just wished he could have played a bit before they all got dressed.

Up on the patio, the lads had finished eating and began to put things away. They knew Charles and his friends all went to get changed back into street clothes so they didn't say anything about them not helping. Robert did go over to his 'dad' and quietly asked about a sleep over but his 'dad' told him not tonight. He reminded his 'son' they wanted to talk about them moving the ramps and since Momma Maria was off they would be going to Four Corners to eat. Robert was disappointed, but none of the kids knew what was said, like Mr. Ken wanted it to be, so they were not going to be disappointed.

Charles and his friends came out onto the patio only to see everything was almost cleaned up and things were put away. Asher then took out his phone and called home. He told his dad that 6 o'clock would be a good time to pick him and Mason up as that was when all the other kids were leaving, as well.

Once everything was put away, and the rest of the guys had changed, they all headed out to the ramps to skate some more. Asher and Mason apologized for not helping but Robert said that it was OK and they'd get to learn how to do it the next time they came over. That revelation made the boys smile knowing they would be coming back. Even Charles came over to them after what Robert said to assure them they could come back.

It was close to 6 PM when the Cover's friends began to head up to the Main Gate to await their rides. When Mr. Youngman stopped to collect Asher and Mason the boys introduced him to Camm and James as being their friends and schoolmates. That made the dad happy there were other kids his son's age there so they didn't feel out of place.

Mr. Ken had come up to the gate to make sure all the kids got home. Mr. Youngman went over to the man and thanked him for having his son and his friend over and had hoped they hadn't been any trouble. The two men shook hands and the man and the boys got into the car and left.

Camm's mom saw an opening and went over to Mr. Ken and began talking to him. She still hoped she could get a date with the much younger man and kept giving Ken Thomas some subtle hints and continued to rub her hands on his arms and lower back. But she wasn't the only mom who wanted to talk to the man and the other ladies came over and asked about Charles and how he was doing which was something Joyce Cambelle never did.

As the parents were leaving, Mr. Ken told them he wanted to take the lads out for a spin around the lake tomorrow night and hoped they would be okay with that. He tasked them to let their kids come over about four so they can skate and or swim some before they went on the Commander. He added either Charles or Robert would confirm with their friends later tonight. Soon the Main Gate was devoid of traffic and the Cover's walked down to the house and went inside to change to go out for dinner.
