Matthew had his new friends get their swimsuits and towels and the six boys walked back down to the indoor pool. When they got there and walked into the Men's Locker Room, Greg and Aaron were abruptly stunned at seeing some of the older boys bare assed naked and not caring that anyone could see them.
"Matthew ...do we have to, you know, change in front of ...in front of all these older boys?" asked Aaron.
Charles heard the question and told his youngest 'brother' to take them over to the other Locker Room and they all could change there. He said since they were all the same age it might not be too stressful on his two new friends.
The six boys walked over to the Women's Locker Room after Matthew, Brant, Ryan and Noah retrieved their suits from the pile in the Men's Locker Room.
As the six entered the Women's Locker Room, Greg asked Matthew if there were any girls going to use that room, too. Brant answered that question by telling Greg and Aaron that unless there are girls skating with them, or it is a special occasion, there would be no girls walking in on them. That put a big relief on the two new boys.
"Matthew," started Greg, "do all the boys, you know ...do they all change in front of everyone else in the other Locker Room? I've ...I've never seen older boys, ahh ...naked like that. And some of them had lots of hair above their, ahh ...their wieners."
Brant laughed and told Greg and Aaron how the older boys got them to change in front of them and not feel so embarrassed that someone else saw them. He explained that after they do it a few times, with all the other boys around, it just comes naturally. Brant then asked the two new boys to follow along and change with them.
Aaron balked at them all changing in front of one another, and asked if there was somewhere else they could change without everyone seeing them. Matthew pointed to the toilet stalls and told them they could use those. The Cover continued and said he'd bet that since he and Greg were Best Buddies they had seen each other naked and it was no big deal.
Matthew told them he now showers with his older brothers every morning, but in the beginning it took him time to get used to others seeing him naked. He told them he was afraid he'd get a stiffie in front of them, but his 'brothers' told him they all get them in the morning and until you pee it won't go down.
Greg asked if he'd ever seen any of them with a boner. The young Cover told them he'd never seen them with a full-blown boner, but maybe sticking out and almost full. That made the other five laugh. The Cover didn't tell them about what happened at the sleepover they just had.
Brant explained to Greg and Aaron how to change and not be too embarrassed. Greg asked how they could do that, so Brant, Ryan and Noah not only told them, but also showed them first hand.
The three boys put their suits and towels on a bench and sat down and took their shoes and socks off. They then stood and faced the wall. They left their shirts on, but pulled down their shorts and briefs at one time. When they did that they heard a couple of giggles behind them. Brant wiggled his butt at them.
As Brant wiggled his butt, Ryan and Noah just shook their heads and put their swimming suits on. Once done, they then took their shirts off. Brant quickly caught up with his buddies.
Matthew told Greg and Aaron to do the same thing. All three boys sat on the bench and took their shoes and socks off, then stood up and faced the wall. Matthew went first and lowered his shorts and briefs at the same time, but he waited until the other two did the same. When they didn't Matthew spoke up.
"Come on guys ...it isn't all that difficult. Look ...I'm standing here and I haven't put my suit on, yet. You guys have seen each other's equipment …" was all the Cover got out, before he was interrupted.
"Our equipment? What's that?" asked Greg.
"Well, that's what the guys call it. The story goes that way back when Collin lived here the younger boys were embarrassed to change in front of the older boys. So, the older guys took all their clothes off and stood out in front of them and turned all around and let the much younger boys see their 'equipment', you know, their dicks and balls," explained Matthew.
Greg and Aaron had smiles on their faces after hearing that story. The two then looked at one another and together they dropped their shorts and briefs. When they'd done that they both pulled the swimsuits on and took their shirts off. Matthew was still standing there sans swimming suit.
"Well ...you gonna put your suit on?" asked a smiling Aaron.
Matthew laughed and took his swimsuit off the bench and slipped into it. The Cover then told the boys to follow him and he'd show them where to store their clothes and how to use the lockers. When they got to the lockers, most of the other boys had already placed their clothes in them.
"OK, just open a locker put your clothes in it and then lock it. Once it is locked put the key around one of your ankles. Now ...since you've never swam here before, you have to take Mr. Ken's Swim Test. Let me get Robert and he can explain it to you," offered Matthew.
Robert came over to Greg and Aaron and explained that ever since he started living there everyone, who first swims in the indoor pool, has to take the swim test. He explained that even adults have to do it as his dad wants to make sure everyone can swim well enough they aren't a hazard to themselves.
Matthew's two new friends easily passed the test, and, with that over, the six friends went directly to the jumping ledge. Aaron said it didn't look very high, so Matthew said for him to go up there.
"Hey, it looks a lot higher from up here than it did down there," called out Aaron.
"Sit down on the ledge and let your legs hang down," called out Matthew.
Aaron did that as Greg joined him. He, too, said it looked much higher and then he sat down next to his best friend. Brant told them to fall off into the water. The boys looked at one another and then they fell off. They came up to the top of the water and laughed.
That started the jumping game to see which of the six friends could make the biggest splash.
It wasn't long before the twins and their friends came over and asked Matthew and his friends if they wanted to play a few of the other games they played. Greg and Aaron asked what those were and after learning they were the same games they played at the local community pools during the summer they all agreed.
The older boys left the younger ones alone for the most part, but after a while they got bored swimming and playing the same games against one another. Logan suggested they play a big game of sharks and minnows. James suggested they play Marco Polo. That started a round of arguing over which game they could all play.
"I wish dad had bought some things to dive for," lamented Charles. "I know the twins asked him for some, so I bet he'll get them for Kevin and Kyle for Christmas."
"Hey, let's play some sort of relay?" spoke up David. "We can create two or three or even four teams. We try to even the teams out by age or height and then have half on one side and half on the other."
"But, not everyone can swim as good as the others. We should try to match them, but that will take too long," offered Cody.
"Well, what can we do then?" asked James.
Another discussion started and by that time their loud discussion brought Matthew and his friends over. They joined the discussion. There were forty boys all trying to talk at once and to no one in particular. After a few wasted minutes, Robert whistled and got everyone's attention.
"Guys, guys, this isn't getting us anywhere," yelled Robert. "Let's ask Matthew and his friends what they'd like to do. They're the youngest and would be at a disadvantage playing against us older, bigger guys."
Matthew spoke up and asked if they could do the horsey game again, but that time not with the brothers as partners. He suggested they pair a big guy with a small guy and the guys who are the same size be teams. The group talked about it amongst themselves for about twenty seconds and it was the older boys who agreed they liked that idea.
The boys lined up tallest to shortest. Russell and Jordan, the lifeguards, were to be the judges and, if a conflict arose as to who should be the teams, they'd make the final decision. With the 20 teams set they all got into the water and created their horse and rider.
Robert, Eric, Brad, Gordon, Chuck, Trevor, Logan, Cody and Josh being the older boys all had either Matthew, Noah, Brant, Ryan, Greg, Aaron on their backs. Andrew, Landon, Eli rounded up the first nine teams.
That left Charles, Camm, Asher, Mason, James, Jacob, Hunter, David, Dylan, Tyler and Cooper teamed up with Kevin, Sam, Terran, Isaac, Nathan, Grant, Blake, Kevin, Sam, Terran and Isaac.
Greg and Aaron had played that game before, but not with that many teams and with older boys. The smaller, lighter boys got on their partners back and when everyone was ready, Russell declared that the game was on.
The teams looked even and everyone agreed that Russell and Jordan made the best decisions to even them up.
As the game began, the strongest teams were the older boys teamed up with the youngest and lightest boys. The game was a free-for-all which meant anyone one could fight whomever they chose.
Some of the twelve year olds paired with an eleven year old tried to fight the thirteen and ten-year-old pairs, which they found, was a mistake. Their mistake was quickly learned by the others who only fought teams they considered were equal to them.
Logan, being the biggest teenager, was paired with Greg. Robert was the next biggest teen, as he'd been growing quite a bit lately, and he was paired with Aaron. Everyone tried to avoid fighting them as they saw they always won their matches.
The teams of Eric and Brant and Brad paired with Matthew were a close match to Logan and Robert's teams. Those four teams fought everyone but themselves. And in the end it was just those four teams left out in the water. They all wanted to take a break, but Russell said no one else had a break during the match, so they didn't get one either.
That meant the four teams had to fight one another, but they didn't know which one to go after first. Robert and Logan were tired and even though they had lightweight boys on their backs they were feeling the heaviness on their shoulders. Eric and Brad weren't much better off, but they felt they could go on without a break.
Eric and Brad made a pact to go after Robert, first. They knew, together, they could defeat him unless Logan appeared to help. But, Logan took advantage of the short break to recharge and let Robert go down.
The pact then focused on Logan and Greg. Greg was the unknown in the battle. He wasn't used to being on someone's back that long and he was getting tired from holding on. It didn't take long for Logan and Greg to go down. Now, it was Eric and Brant against Brad and Matthew.
The rest of the boys lined the sides of the pool and cheered on the team they thought could win.
The two teams walked around in circles sizing the other team up. Brad made a faint to go after Eric's right side, but quickly turned and went after his left. Eric stumbled some and had to back up some to gain his balance. While he did that Brad went in for the kill and won the game.
The boys along the sidelines all cheered Matthew's and Brad's win. Greg and Aaron came over to their new friend and congratulated him on the win. They also talked about all the fun they've had and couldn't believe they were actually at Three Finger Cove.
Some of the older boys went to change. When Greg and Aaron saw they changed they asked Matthew what that was all about. The young Cover told them it must be time to cook and Robert and Chuck were going to get the grill ready.
Matthew told his new friends to follow him and quickly get their clothes and change. All six boys did just that and went into the Women's Locker Room to change. When they got inside, they all got to a bench and placed their clothes on it. That done, knowing they needed to hurry Greg and Aaron quickly dropped their swimsuits.
When they did that, they were naked as the day they were born, and didn't realize what they had done until the other four started laughing. Greg and Aaron turned around to see what the other four were laughing at. That was when they saw them all naked, too. It was then they looked down at themselves, only to see they were just as naked. They began to laugh, as well.
Once they were changed, the six boys joined in going to get the items needed to have a successful barbeque. Greg went to help get the sodas. Aaron helped get the plates and utensils and anything else in that group.
When the group went to the garage to put the ice chests on the wheeled carts, they saw the brand new bike sitting there. They asked each other if they knew whose bike that was. None of them knew what that was all about, so Trevor told them they'd find out eventually.
Greg and Aaron were amazed at what it took to have a barbeque. They saw two teens outside turning the burger's on the grill and just getting ready to cook the hot dogs, as they didn't take much time at all. Other teens were out there, too, as cooking 40 to 50 burgers and maybe as many hot dogs needed a work force to carry them into the pool area.
Charles took charge of the inside set up of the barbeque. The majority of the boys knew what to do to set up the tables with the utensils and plates and napkins, and all Charles did was direct misplaced items to their rightful place. It was then that Mr. Ken and Mr. Wayne came to the pool area.
"Getting a late start on cooking are we?" teased Mr. Ken. "And Greg and Aaron how are you two enjoying your first day at The Cove?"
Greg was speechless at hearing the question and Aaron wasn't any better prepared either. Matthew saw their 'deer in the headlights look' and told them to tell his 'dad' what they just told him about their day. So, that's what they did.
The cooks did prepare 50 each of burgers and hot dogs knowing some boys always ate two. When all the cooked items were inside, Mr. Ken told Greg and Aaron that as the new faces at The Cove they were to go first through the line. Matthew and his four other friends followed them.
The boys then allowed Mr. Ken and Mr. Wayne to fix their plates, after which the two men exited to eat elsewhere. Before leaving, Mr. Ken reminded the boys about the rules for the Movie Night. He admonished them not to allow any food to get into the water or there would be no swimming until he could get the pool cleaned.
The owner of The Cove told them that with the Holidays right around the corner it could be well after the New Year before the pool was cleaned. He told them, with three Holiday parties to run and Christmas presents to buy, he might not have the time to have the pool scrubbed. He and Mr. Wayne then walked out the door, with knowing smiles on their faces.
Matthew and his friends talked about the barbeque and everything that happened during the day. Greg and Aaron told their new friends they had heard stories about what went on over at Three Finger Cove, but never thought they'd be there to experience it.
When everyone was finished eating, Greg and Aaron saw how everything was done in reverse. There weren't any hamburgers or hot dogs left over, so no one had to find a container for them. But the rest of the stuff needed to be put back in its place, and the trash taken to the dumpster.
It took the 40 boys about ten minutes to clean the pool area up and put everything away. When everyone was finally together, someone asked if they could swim some more. But, Robert said for them to wait. He told them he needed to talk to his dad to see if he wanted to talk to them first about their schedule for the Holiday's, especially the Six Flags Trip.
As Robert exited the pool area, the boys all began talking about the upcoming Six Flags Fiesta Texas trip and what they all hoped to ride. A few of the boys had been there already, so they told the other ones what type of rides they could expect.
Charles had been there with Mr. Dan, just before school began, so he told them about his trip and how much fun it was. He told them how Camm got sick from spinning on the Pandemonium and then needed to sit down for more than fifteen minutes to allow him to feel somewhat better.
Up in the Kitchen Nook, Robert helped his dad and Mr. Wayne to get the cake, with eleven candles on it, and the two huge tubs of ice cream on two wheeled carts, so they could take them down to the pool area. They also added the plates, bowls and forks and spoons, so the boys had something to use to eat their cake and ice cream. Robert also loaded a cart up with ice, cups and drinks
When everything was ready, Robert called the elevator and the three Covers and the three very full-wheeled carts went in. At its arrival at the Great Room, Robert quickly pushed his cart to the pool entrance and left it there before going inside.
"Hey, everyone, my dad will be here soon. I want everyone to just wait for him to talk to us before any of us go back in swimming," hurriedly announced The Cove's resident teenager.
A few seconds later, Mr. Ken wheeled the large sheet cake, with eleven candles burning, into the pool area and he and Mr. Wayne began singing the Happy Birthday song. That surprised all the boys, except the Cover boys, as they all knew this was going to happen.
"Mr. Ken, whose birthday is it?" asked Greg. Then the boy looked at the cake and saw Matthew's name on it.
"Matthew ...is it your birthday?" asked the Cover's new friend.
"Yep, I'm eleven today," replied Matthew.
"Come on boys, let's sing Happy Birthday to Matthew before the candles burn the cake," called out 'dad' Ken.
The boys all joined in with singing Happy Birthday to the young Cover and when it was over Matthew blew out the eleven candles with one breath. That done, the boys began to congratulate him.
"Boys, boys, please don't pull Matthew's ears. His 'brothers' already did that in the shower this morning, and if you all do it he won't have any ear's left, or at the least his ears will look like an elephants," laughed Mr. Ken, with the boys joining in.
"Robert and I will cut and serve the cake. Mr. Wayne and Charles will dish out the ice cream," announced Mr. Ken. "You can get your own drinks."
The boys got in line, with Matthew at the front. Everyone received a nice size piece of cake and two scoops of ice cream, either vanilla or chocolate, or one of each. After everyone had a piece of cake, and some ice cream, the adults, along with Russell and Jordan, got their own.
You would have thought it would be quiet while forty boys ate their concoctions, but the boys wanted to know why they weren't told it was Matthew's birthday, so they could have brought him a present.
"Boys ...I hear you, but ...it was my decision not to tell you. I also had the boys keep it quiet, as well. There is no need for Matthew to get forty plus presents with Christmas just around the corner. And besides, I can give him what he needs. That goes for all my boys," spoke up 'dad' Ken.
"Then whose new bike is it out in the garage?" asked Greg.
"Ahh, you saw that, did you? I guess when you got the drinks earlier you saw where Matthew parked it last night. That is his birthday present. And with Christmas just around the corner he'll get enough presents then," repeated Mr. Ken with a chuckle.
Some of the boys asked for seconds and Mr. Wayne served those who asked for it. Mr. Ken told them to eat it all up as they had loads of Momma Maria's sweetcakes around to enjoy. The boys didn't disappoint him.
As the boys finished up eating the remaining cake, and as much of the ice cream as they could, Mr. Ken talked to Russell and Jordan. He told them what they would be doing both nights and if they wanted they could sign up as helpers for the New Year's Eve parties.
Jordan was surprised there would be two New Year's Eve parties and he asked about them. Mr. Ken told him that he has an adult party and a young people's party out in the garage. The owner of The Cove told both lifeguards that this year he was having a competition amongst the local high schools and those students who participated would be invited to hear the announcement of the winner. Mr. Ken also told him there would be his 'boys' and a few of their friends there, as well.
When all the trash had been collected, Mr. Ken called everyone together to talk to them about his and the boys Holiday schedule.
"Boys ...let me tell you about the schedule here at The Cove. You all know about the Six Flags trip, and if you didn't know about it, you know about it now, but more about that in a moment or two.
"In two weeks, The Cove will host its two annual Holiday parties. The first is on Friday and is for the neighbors and my 'boys' friends who live out of the area. The second is for the people I deal with in my endeavors. That one is very elegant and by written invitation only.
"The week leading up to Christmas will be a very busy time for me and the boys. We'll need to finish our Christmas shopping and wrapping and you'll have to call them to see if you can come over.
"Of course Christmas Day will be a busy one here. I figure with five boys and me and Chief it will take all morning to open presents and enjoy what we receive. If there is time for you to come over for an hour, or two, the boys will let you all know. Greg, Aaron make sure someone has your phone numbers.
"The next item on our agenda is our Christmas vacation. Saturday morning, the day after Christmas, bright and way earlier than the boys will want, we are all going on a trip. The boys have asked me to take them to see my amusement parks back east, and that is what we will do. We won't be back until Tuesday night, barring any unusual circumstances. Of course, you will have to entertain yourselves without The Cove in your plans," laughed Mr. Ken.
"That will only leave Wednesday and Thursday for skating and swimming. Since we have the New Year's Eve Party Friday night, I will want the boys to be well rested for it. The last few years I also hosted a New Year's Day Swim Party to eat up all the leftovers. That begins at noon, or 1 o'clock, and runs through late evening. You will all be invited to that along with your entire families.
"Now, as for the Monday trip, we'll all meet here at 9:45 in the morning, as we did for the SeaWorld trip, to take roll and we'll hopefully leave by 10 AM. Since the park is in an old quarry it could get damp and cold at night, so make sure you all bring a light jacket. If it is warm when we get there you can leave the jackets in the bus and get them later in the evening.
"I also ask you to remind your parents to give you some money for your lunch or snacks and drinks and any games you may want to play. I will as I did at SeaWorld treat you all to dinner at a place yet to be determined. I'll let you know before we get off the bus at Fiesta Texas.
"We'll break you up into age groups, as we did before, so you can ride the rides together. That way you can tease each other over what you did on the ride. With that said, I'd recommend you not eat too much.
"Now, this is their Holiday time, so the park will be decked out in Holiday colors and there will be entertainment throughout the day. Keep in mind that your chaperones may want to watch them. So, please let's not have a situation as we did at SeaWorld.
"We'll leave the park at around 10 PM. It is a two hour drive, so make sure you tell your parents, who are not going to be chaperones, to pick you up here around midnight. Rain or shine the trip is on as there hasn't been an alternate day picked," finished Mr. Ken.
Then, Mr. Wayne spoke up. "Ahh, boss, ahh Mr. Ken ...Chris and I ...we chose Tuesday as the alternate trip day in case it is raining cats and dogs. Sorry for not telling you, that."
"That is good to know. Thank you, Mr. Wayne. Also, my 'boys' have asked about having a sleepover during the Holidays, but I haven't seen a good day, yet, to do that. The boys will keep you posted if they have one.
"Now ...do any of you have any questions for me?" asked Mr. Ken.
Greg raised his hand. "Mr. Ken ...ahh ...you told us that we can continue to, you know, to come back here as long as we behave ourselves and not make any trouble. Were you teasing us?"
"No, I was not teasing you, Greg, as long as you continue to be friends with my 'boys' and are good boys, you can continue to come back. Right now the boys come over about noontime and leave by six on Saturday, and non-school days, and at five on Sunday. Make sure you coordinate with your parents if you're not coming here on your bike. Now, any more questions?" finished Mr. Ken.
"Yes, I have a question, sir, Mr. Ken," spoke up Russell. "How does one get an invitation for this Six Flags Trip?"
The boys all laughed at hearing what the lifeguard had to say.
"Russell, I guess, you being a senior, and all, you could be a chaperone. But. I take it you'd like to be one who can ride the rides and enjoy the day, and not have to look out after a bunch of rug rats," laughed Mr. Ken.
"Well ...there is that, but ...I bet some of the boys would like someone older to ride some of the scarier coasters with, maybe?" replied Russell. "But, I think I could do both, you know, ride and chaperone. That is if you'll have me!"
"What say we talk about this a little later, OK?" replied Mr. Ken.
When Mr. Ken was finished with his announcements, some of the boys wanted to swim some more, while others wanted to skate, too. It was already after 5 PM, so Mr. Ken made an executive decision and told all the boys to change into their street clothes and meet out in the parking corral. The boys hurriedly scattered to change to be the first ones out using the ramps before they got too crowded.
Mr. Ken pulled Russell aside and said, "Russell, how about for now, you keep that Monday, after school gets out for the Holiday, open. I have asked some of the parents to chaperone and they need to respond before I can ask you to fill in, but if the SeaWorld trip is any indication then I'll probably need you.
"I pair up the chaperones, so they can watch a few instead of one person being responsible for 8 or 10 boys. At SeaWorld the boys did remarkably well, especially the older ones. Also, we meet here, as I mentioned, and return, but if you want to take your car, then we can probably work something out. Let's stay in touch," finished Mr. Ken.
The 40 boys gathered at the ramps. Many rode them, but there were just as many standing around talking about the pool games and Matthew's Birthday Party. Greg and Aaron talked to a few of the twins' friends who they knew were coming over ever since Kevin and Kyle arrived. They had to confirm, for themselves, they could continue to come back. They couldn't get the smiles off their faces when they realized it was true – that they can come back.
Close to 6 PM, the boys began their trek up the slight rise to the Main Gate to await their parents. Mr. Ken and Mr. Wayne saw the boys going up towards the Main Gate, so they got their jackets on and followed quickly behind.
When Aaron and Greg saw their parents drive up, they couldn't wait to tell them how much fun they had today. Claire and Lucas Duggans joined Addison and John Farrmers as they walked to the gate to talk to Mr. Ken.
"Mom, dad, we had so much fun today," called out Greg and Aaron at the same time. Greg continued and said, "And, today was Matthew's birthday, but we only found out when Mr. Ken and Mr. Wayne brought in this huge birthday cake and two barrels of ice cream. We sang Happy Birthday and then we had some awesome cake and ice cream."
"Yea, mom and dad, Mr. Ken said we can continue to come back as long as our friends will be here. Mr. Ken has some trips planned for Matthew and his 'brothers' during the Holidays, but we can still come back next weekend," excitedly said Aaron.
"Yea and Mr. Ken told us that after his New Year's Eve Party he has a New Year's Day Swim Party and we're invited. I mean we're all invited, including everyone in our families," breathlessly blurted out Greg.
The parents looked to Mr. Ken to ask him if what the boys said was true. Mr. Ken told them essentially what their sons said. By then, a few of the other parents came over to Mr. Ken and Mr. Wayne and the parents of the new boys.
Some of the parents told Mr. Ken he should have told them it was Matthew's birthday and they could have gotten the boy a gift. Mr. Ken explained that Matthew didn't need 40 gifts, but just the acknowledgement of his birthday. He then told them he'd gotten the new eleven year old a new bike.
The parents also asked him about the New Year's Day Swim Party. Mr. Ken told them he likes to get the leftovers from the previous night's parties out of the house and what better way than to have a swim party and invite everyone.
Mr. Ken told the parents that he also wants to talk to them that day about an important issue that concerns them and their sons. That got their curiosity up and they tried to get the owner of The Cove to reveal more. All Mr. Ken would tell them was it could wait until then and they should all plan to attend with their entire families.
The parents of Greg and Aaron exchanged their phone numbers, with a few of the other parents, before they all left for home.
The Covers said their Goodbyes to their friends and told them they'd see them tomorrow. With that complete, Mr. Ken told his 'sons' to wash up for dinner and then on to some Christmas shopping.
