(I had the hardest time editing the format of these last two chapters so if anyone can help with that, I'd appreciate it)
I stared in shock at Ezekiel, he had his arms crossed with the book
sticking out from under his air, a smirk on his face. I moved slowly to
put on my clothes, blushing as I did. Stepping forward I took the book
from him, his eyes pinned on my every move, dull and lifeless. I was
terrified. I backed away for a moment, my gaze holding his own in a
showdown of sorts, a thick silence between us, one that didn't get me so
much as a hint as to what he was thinking. Suddenly, he broke out in a
huge grin laughing as he pushed past me towards Isaiah who sat on the
bed, now dressed and grinning. I stared in confusion as the two sat on my
bed laughing as if the best joke in the world had just landed on their
lips. I frowned taking a cautious step forward. "Just what's so funny?"
I said with a nervous glare. Ezekiel smirked and leaned over to whisper
in Isaiah's ear. The boy blushed and nodded. "It was a amazing and you
owe me ten bucks." He said with a smile. I rolled my eyes and moved to
place the book on a nearby bookshelf I kept, I scanned the shelves and
plucked a book from the shelf and tossed it in Ezekiel's lap glaring at
him. "So, anybody want to explain why there's such a casual reaction to
what's going on?" I asked rubbing my temples. Ezekiel flipped the book
and scanned the back as he spoke. "Well, I made a bet with Isaiah that
you wouldn't sleep with him." He said looking up with a devilish glint
in his eyes." Much less give him head. He came out to me about a year
ago. And he's had a crush on you since forever." He said as Isaiah
nudged him in the side."What? It's true. You ever scribbled his name
inside all of you notebooks." he said with a shrug getting up off the
bed. He turned to me with a frown." I don't get it." He said with a
quizzical look, he sighed shaking his head." Well you guys have fun, I'm
off to go study." He smirked looking over at Isaiah."Behave, don't let
Damien catch you guys." He said as he exited the room, closing the door
behind him. I stared at the closed door, shocked, awed, and somewhat
relieved. I sighed and sat on the floor in front the bet, next to
Isaiah's feet with a groan. Kneeling forward I put my head in my hands.
"That was so fucked." I grumbled. "We can't do that again...ever." I
said through my hands. Isaiah shifted next to me, kicking me gently with
his foot, I looked up at him, he was grinning widely, his eyes sparkling
with a light that I'll never forget. "I don't care what everyone says."
he said with a smirk. "We're going to do it again." He said his eyes
cold and determined, something in his demeanor changed, and it felt
overwhelming, as if it was pulling me and I couldn't help but be
transfixed, almost caught in a trance.
He slid off the bed not once breaking eye contact with me as he stared me in my eyes, a glare that
seemed to pierce the deepest hidden parts of me. I licked my lips and
swallowed back the dry nervous lump in my throat. He placed a hand on my
shoulder, lightly squeezing it. "Right?" He said insistently, stepping
close his foot now in between my legs, his body inches from my own. I
closed my eyes and inhaled deeply, his sent rushing through my nostrils
captivating my senses. I nodded softly. "Y-yes." I had to give in,
there was no other choice. I opened my eyes slowly, meeting his own gaze
that had softened.
"What the fuck are you guys up to?" A voice said breaking our stare.
Never missing a beat, Isaiah turned to meet Damien who stood in the door
with his arms crossed, his eyes low and red.
He wore a dirty white
T-shirt, and pair of faded jeans, his feet bare. "Nothing, I'm trying to
hypnotize Eric." he said with a goofy grin and shrug. He moved to sit
down on the bed as Damien stepped into the room.
Damien chuckled and rolled his eyes. "You guys are weirdos." He said
with a shrug as waved a hand motioning for me to come out into the hall.
I got up following him into the hall, shutting the door behind us. He
stared at me with dark eyes for a moment. "I need you to watch him for
the night. I got to make some money or else shit's gonna go down hill at
home." He said with a steady voice, his eyes hardened against a truth
that we both know.
I sighed and put a hand on his shoulder my own gaze
softening as I did. "Fine, I don't have a problem with that. Send Zeke
if you need to, I'll tell my Mom you had to go out of town or
something."
I said with a shrug. He smirked and pulled me close into a
hug, I inhaled softly his scent lingering in my nostrils as he pulled
away. "You're my brother, no matter what, don't forget that." He said
as he turned to leave. I watched him go, my thoughts lingering for a
moment as he did. Turning to open the door again, I smiled as Isaiah lay
sprawled across the bed, flipping through channels on the tv in front of
him.
" Looks like you're camping out tonight." I said with a grin moving to
sit next to him. "Maybe Zeke too, so I should probably cook something."
I said looking towards the door. Isaiah rolled over onto his back laying
the remote on his chest with a huff, he stared up at the ceiling with a
huge grin." Naw, he's not coming back. He's with his boyfriend." He
said sitting up with a huge grin. He moved forward and placed a hand on
my shoulder leaning in close, kissing me deeply. I knew at that moment,
that his kisses were a taste I never wanted to forget.
